Exploring serum miR-33b as a novel diagnostic marker for hypercholesterolemia and obesity: insights from a pilot case-control study
Published 2025-01-01“…Finally, the ROC analysis demonstrated that miR-33b had an AUC of 0.74 for identifying hypercholesterolemia and an AUC of 0.76 for identifying obesity, indicating its acceptable diagnostic value alongside traditional markers. Therefore, serum miR-33b levels can be considered as a potential biomarker for obesity and hypercholesterolemia, but these finding are preliminary and further investigation is necessary in larger samples to confirm these associations.…”

An exploratory study on the differential diagnostic indicators between adult systemic EBV-positive T-cell lymphoproliferative disorders and angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma with multiple EBV infections
Published 2025-01-01“…Abstract Background The differential diagnosis between adult systemic EBV-positive T-cell lymphoproliferative disorders (EBV+ T-LPD) and angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) with multiple EBV infections is difficult, and distinguishing between the two has become a diagnostic challenge for pathologists. Given that the clinical treatment plans are different, an accurate diagnosis is a prerequisite to ensure effective treatment, therefore, it is extremely necessary and meaningful to find effective pathological indicators for distinguishing between two diseases. …”
