Effect of Simple Reaction Speed Training on Executive Function of the Elderly with Mild Cognitive Impairment
Published 2021-04-01“…Moreover, the serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor in the blood before and after intervention was detected by using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), respectively. Results:Compared with before intervention, the scores of conversion, working memory, planning, task monitoring, MI, total standard scores, TMT-B and interference in the observation group after intervention for three months were significantly lower, KST, TJT, ZMT, total standard scores and level of serum BDNF of the observation group after intervention were significantly higher (P< 0.05); compared with the control group, the scores of conversion, task initiation, working memory, planning, BRI, MI, total standard scores, TMT-B and interferences of the observation group were significantly lower, and RSCT, KST, TJT, ZMT, total standard scores and level of serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) of the observation group were significantly high (P< 0.05).Conclusion:Simple reaction speed training can improve the executive function, brain nerve function, and effectively delay cognitive decline of elderly with MCI.…”

Remote Continuous Microinjury-Triggered Cytokines Facilitate Severe Diabetic Foot Ulcer Healing via the Ras/Raf/MEK/ERK Pathway
Published 2025-02-01“…Higher levels of serum TGF-β 1, PDGF-BB, and VEGF were detected in the TTT group. These changes were in parallel with the expression of TGF-β 1, PDGF-BB, and VEGF in the foot wounds and the frequency of EPCs in both bone marrow and peripheral circulation, which implied that the secreted TGF-β 1, PDGF-BB, and VEGF promote proliferation and migration of EPCs to the foot wounds. …”

Modulation of Acupuncture at Quchi (LI 11) and Waiguan (SJ 5) acupoints on LTP-like Plasticity
Published 2020-04-01“…We used three laser pens to locate and mark with a soft-tipped pen to assure a constant placement of the coil throughout the session.②Detection of resting motor threshold (rMT): The response resting motor threshold (rMT) was defined as the stimulus intensity at which 5/10 consecutive single stimuli at the optimal sclap site evoked a MEP of at least 50 μV amplitude in the relaxed muscle.③Investigate the short-latency somatosensory-evoked potentials (SLSEP): Monophasic electrical stimulation adjusted to produce visible thumb twitch was delivered at points overlying the ulnar nerve at the right of FDI, through a bipolar electrode (cathode proximal) with intensity 5-10 mA.④Brain plasticity induced by PAS-LTP: The LTP-like plasticity induced by paired associative stimulation (PAS) consisted of 200 stimulus pairs of electrical stimulation followed by TMS. …”

Long-Term Results of Medical and Surgical Methods for Elimination of the Internal Anal Sphincter Spasm in Chronic Anal Fissure (NCT03855046)
Published 2023-12-01“…In the framework of the performed study, in some patients from the compared groups, spasm of the internal anal sphincter persisted throughout the observation period, and in some patients it occurred again, while no signs of relapse fissure were detected. The functional and clinical results of treatment obtained by us cast doubt on the exclusivity of the increased tone of the internal anal sphincter as the main link in the pathogenesis of chronic anal fissure in some patients and indicates the presence of other factors in combination with which the course of the disease is determined. …”
