Reversible digital watermarking-based protocol for data integrity in wireless sensor network
Published 2018-03-01“…For the contradiction between high energy consumption of WSN privacy protection algorithm and constrained resources of sensor network,a recoverable data fusion protocol that ensures data integrity and confidentiality based on reversible digital watermarking and homomorphic encryption technology was proposed. On the one hand, the data from the sensor was embedded by the difference expansion method by using the reversible digital watermarking technique, and original data could be recovered by using a reversible watermark to ensure the integrity check of the fusion data when the fusion data were destroyed. On the other hand, elliptic curve homomorphic encryption encrypted data to prevent sensor data from being perceived during data transmission.Security results show that the proposed protocol performs well against cluster head node compromise as well as tampering from an attack.Performance analysis shows that the protocol has significant advantages over other algorithms in terms of computation, communication overhead and propagation delay. The experimental results show that the protocol has a low resource overhead and improves network performance.…”

Éthique environnementale, remédiation écologique et compensations territoriales : entre antinomie et correspondances
Published 2010-04-01“…As a matter of fact, this practice implies that man is able to recreate in the same way an ecosystem he destroyed. The community benefits are also contested, because they would be a way to silence the inhabitant in giving them economic compensation. However the renewal of compensation agreements and the involvement of new stakeholders in the previous phase of consultation compel us to revise the underlying ethical principles. …”

Staying Optimistic: The Trials and Tribulations of Leibnizian Optimism
Published 2019-01-01“…The oft-told story of Leibniz’s doctrine of the best world, or optimism, is that it enjoyed a great deal of popularity in the eighteenth century until the massive earthquake that struck Lisbon on 1 November 1755 destroyed its support. Discussion on Prevention Measures and Remedy Options in Evaluation of Flood Control
Published 2022-01-01“…With China's economic and social development and expanding urban infrastructure construction, there are more and more construction projects within the scope of river channel management. The project construction usually occupies the flood discharge section, produces backwater, changes the local flow regime, and destroys the embankment section, affecting the safety of flood discharge and embankments. At the same time, floods scour the river channel and endanger the safety of the project. The evaluation of flood control should be carried out,and prevention measures and remedy options should be implemented simultaneously with the construction projects to reduce the influence of river-related projects on the river channel and ensure the flood control safety of the projects. This paper analyzes the river-crossing project and estuary mouth in terms of river-related concern, the key points of technical review, and the influence mechanism.Combined with project examples, the paper summarizes the prevention measures and remedy options in various evaluations of flood control according to their characteristics, including the layout method, scope of implementation, and design principle. It can provide a reference for the similar evaluation of flood control.…”

Evolution Process and Impact Analysis of the Dam-break Flood of Baihuatan Hydropower Station Based on HEC-RAS
Published 2021-01-01“…Once the reservoir is destroyed,it will bring huge damage to peoples lives and regional economic development. This paper extracts the topographic information of the upstream and downstream of Baihuatan Hydropower Station by Google Earth and Arc-GIS,establishes a numerical analysis model of the river channel through HEC-RAS based on the 1∶1 000 topographic map of the hub, calculates and analyzes the evolution process and the scope of impact of dam-break flood under nine schemes, and clearly defines the submerged scope and transfer route. The results show that:The flow of the breach depends on the width of the breach.During the course of the dam-break flood, with the continuation of the flood into the reservoir, the peak flow of the downstream sections decreases slightly; The greater the flood into the reservoir is,the earlier the peak flow of downstream sections occurs;Guoyushe,Shihua Village,Caiyuanzi, and Anning Village will be flooded to a certain extent. The analysis results provide a scientific basis for the safe operation of power stations and emergency management of flood control, and a reference for the research of similar gate dam projects.…”
