Estimation of wireless channel fading model in maritime communication for complex meteorological environment by Yasheng DAI, Bolin MA, Guangxue YUE

    Published 2022-03-01
“…Due to the influence of complex marine environmental factors such as sparse scattering of electromagnetic wave on the ocean surface, wave shadow fading, complex meteorological environment. It is extremely hard to model the fading of wireless channel in maritime communication environment. After analyzing the influence of meteorological environment and multipath channel fading via direct-path, specular-path and diffuse-path on marine wireless communication channel fading, the estimation of wireless channel fading model in maritime communication for complex meteorological environment (EWCFM-CME) was proposed. An improved bee colony algorithm was designed to estimation the parameter of EWCFM-CME.In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of search algorithm, an iterative function with sin(·) function as operator was designed in search scheme of bee colonies. The leading bee received the detection bee solution to update itself with probability P.It prevents the solution algorithm from falling into local optimization. The simulation results show that, compared with fluctuate two-ray (FTR) fading model and round earth loss (REL) model, the mean absolute error (MAE) of EWCFM-CME increased by 13.58% and 11.43% By comparing EWCFM-CME with cuckoo search, genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm, the search time is reduced by 60.48%, 45.18% and 43.23%, respectively.…”

Ring-based efficient batch authentication and group key agreement protocol with anonymity in Internet of vehicles by Haibo ZHANG, Kai LAN, Zhou CHEN, Ruyan WANG, Can ZOU, Mingyue WANG

    Published 2023-06-01
“…Aiming at the problem that the current batch authentication and key agreement protocol were relied on semi-trusted road side unit (RSU) and were not suitable for key update in large-scale Internet of vehicles (IoV), a ring-based efficient batch authentication and group key agreement protocol with anonymity in IoV was proposed. The anonymity was ensured by the pseudonym mechanism. The authentication key pairs were constructed by the chaotic map, and the batch authentication for many vehicles was quickly completed by a small number of bilinear maps. The joining and leaving of vehicles in large-scale IoV scenario were fully considered, a ring session group was efficiently constructed by using the semi-group property of chaotic maps, and a group key establishment and update mechanism suitable for large-scale vehicles was designed. In addition, a pseudonym update mechanism and an anonymous tracing mechanism were designed to ensure a more secure session process. At the same time, the BAN logic model was used to prove the semantic security of the protocol. The security analysis and simulation results show that the proposed protocol has multiple security attributes and certain efficiency advantages.…”

Interference alignment based on optimizing bit allocation with limited feedback in interfering MIMO-MAC networks by Xian-zhong XIE, Dan LI, Wei-jia LEI, Sen-lin ZHANG

    Published 2017-11-01
“…A novel limited feedback for interference alignment algorithm was proposed based on the disadvantages of traditional limited feedback interference alignment schemes for MIMO uplink.Unlike the traditional linear interference alignment,an iterative scheme was presented. The pre-coder was designed through maximizing the target signal to the interference leakage and noise ratio, and interference suppression matrix was designed by maximizing the signal to interference plus noise ratio for each data stream, which can come over rate loss in low SNR.In addition, the bit allocation of traditional limited feedback schemes were based on the mean of interference leakage, which were not perfect and make the total number of the effective bits less than the bits provided by system. Thus,a novel bit allocation scheme was provided that improving bit utilize and decreasing quantization error.Theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that compare to the existed classical algorithms, the algorithm was a stepwise enhancement of signal quality for iterative search in perfect CSI which was better than linear algorithm and has a larger space with no need for strictly align interference in limited feedback CSI which reduces the influence of quantization error more. The effective bit distribution and bit utilization are improved by bit allocation, resulting in improved performance in limited feedback.…”
