    Published 2015-01-01
“…The parametric modeling of spiral bevel gear is of great significance to its further research on tooth contact analysis in its digitized design. From the precision of spiral bevel gear tooth with spherical involute tooth profile, the principle of forming the spherical involute is used to solve the parametric equations of all parts of tooth profile curve.Combining the unique advantages of Frenet frame in the SWEEP surface modeling,a modeling method of tooth surface of spiral bevel gear with the spherical involute is presented based on the SWEEP.Finally, the model is created by using the transverse tooth profiles through the SWEEP method. The numerical example verified that this method can finish fast and accurate parametric modeling process of the spiral bevel gear tooth surface,a new access to design of the spiral bevel gear is provided.…”

Adaptive beamforming of massive MIMO based on DoA in high mobility scenarios by Yong LIAO, Yu-feng LI, Xuan-fan SHEN

    Published 2017-06-01
“…A direction of arrival based (DoA-based) beamforming of massive MIMO was proposed for high-speed railway scenarios. In order to guarantee that the optimal system capacity can be obtained during traveling,an iterative multi-beams scheme was proposed. It aimed to design different beams for different mobile carriage terminals (MCT) respectively. The proposal adaptively selected the number of antennas for each beam, and adaptively designed the number of beams according to system capacity. Moreover, the scheme didn’t need channel state information (CSI) that can reduce system implementation complexity and cost.Numerical results indicate that the proposed scheme is suitable for high-speed scenarios, the system performance can be improved more efficiently compared to conventional methods.…”

Nonlinear transform coding for semantic communications by Ping ZHANG, Jincheng DAI, Yuming ZHANG, Sixian WANG, Xiaoqi QIN, Kai NIU

    Published 2023-04-01
“…The modular design and limited processing mechanism of traditional communication systems limit the continuous improvement of end-to-end data transmission capability. For this reason, a new nonlinear transform coding framework for semantic communications was proposed.First, an end-to-end rate distortion optimization criterion for semantic communication was derived based on variational theory.Based on this, a nonlinear transform was designed to extract the compact representation of source data in the semantic latent space, and variable-rate nonlinear joint source-channel coding was implemented through the guidance of variational entropy model.Experiments show that semantic nonlinear transform coding can significantly improve the end-to-end data transmission performance and robustness, and is one of the key technologies to catalyze future semantic communications.…”

Coordinated beamforming for cognitive multi-cell networks with wiretap channels by Dong-hua CHEN, Xiu-xiu ZHANG, Wei-bo XIE

    Published 2014-11-01
“…Owing to the coupling among the vectors to be optimized, the problem becomes non-convex and non-linear.Accordingly,a centralized coordinated beamforming design method was proposed by constraining the leakage interference and using the semi-definite relaxation, and on the base of it,a decentralized algorithm was also proposed by decomposing the centralized design problem into a group of sub-problems on each cell’s base by using dual decomposition.Simulation results show that the proposed schemes make effective reduction in power consumption while guarantee the legal users’ secrecy rate requirement and the cognitive interference constraint. Moreover, the proposed decentralized method not only reduces the computational complexity, but also has the same performance as the centralized algorithm.…”

    Published 2020-01-01
“…At the beginning of design for the traditional mobile communication systems, security is considered as an independent technology, relying on “patch” and “plug-in” to realize the security protection of wireless communica-tion.The sixth-generation (6G) mobile communication system is designed based on software-defined slicing platform, edge computing, artificial intelligence and big data mining to adapt to different application scenarios and performance objectives, making the traditional network security mechanisms difficult to guarantee 6G's requirements for embed-ded security.6G endogenous security was proposed, the architecture and key technologies of 6G endogenous security were described, the security threats in the new technologies were discussed which 6G would adopt, and the chal-lenges and future research directions of 6G endogenous security were provided.…”
