Induced spoofing detection method based on error valuation accumulation open-loop correction by Lunlong ZHONG, Jiongpo LIU, Yongyu LIU

    Published 2022-09-01
“…Induced satellite spoofing interference can induce the aircraft to gradually deviate from the predetermined trajectory, and it is difficult to detect. So timely and effective detection of interference is the guarantee of flight safety.Based on the existing tightly integrated navigation system, an error valuation accumulation open-loop correction structure was designed. It was proved that the performance of the designed structure was equivalent to the performance of traditional tightly integrated navigation system with closed-loop correction. On the basis of designed structure, combining the tightly integrated navigation system with the adaptive sequential probability ratio test method, an induced spoofing detection method based on the error valuation accumulation open-loop correction was proposed.A spoofing detection statistic for induced spoofing detection was constructed by integrating the tightly integrated navigation information with other navigation information that was not affected by spoofing interference.Simulation results show that the designed open-loop correction structure can avoid the divergence problem of the integrated navigation filter caused by the inertial navigation system error accumulated over time. Moreover, the proposed spoofing detection method can improve the detection effect of the algorithm of the small induced spoofing under the “worst” case further.…”

A survey on deep learning based joint source-channel coding by Tianjie MU, Xiaohui CHEN, Yiyun WANG, Lupeng MA, Dong LIU, Jing ZHOU, Wenyi ZHANG

    Published 2020-10-01
“…Classical information theory shows that separate source-channel coding is asymptotically optimal over a point-to-point channel. As modern communication systems are becoming more sensitive to delays and bandwidth,it becomes difficult to adopt the assumption that such separate designs have unlimited computing power for encoding and decoding.Compared to joint source-channel coding, separate coding has proven to be sub-optimal when the bandwidth is limited. However, conventional joint source-channel coding schemes require complicated design. In contrast,data-driven deep learning brings new designing ideas into the paradigm.A summary of relevant research results was provided, which will help to clarify the way in which deep learning methods solve the joint source-channel coding problem and to provide an overviewof new research directions.Source compression schemes and end-to-end communication system models were firstly introduced, both based on deep learning, then two kinds of joint coding designs under different types of source, and potential problems of joint source-channel coding based on deep learning and possible future research directions were introduced.…”

Low error floor LT coding algorithm by using fixed-length node classification window by Xin SONG, Naiping CHENG, Shuyan NI, Yurong LIAO, Tuofeng LEI

    Published 2021-09-01
“…To solve the problem of high error floor for LT codes in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels, an improved coding scheme was designed.A fixed-length classification window was used to sort out the information nodes with relatively small degrees. Then these nodes would be forced to participate in the coding process frequently, so that they could obtain sufficiently high reliability. To design the optimal parameters, firstly, the bit error rate (BER) performance of LT codes and the cause of the error floor were analyzed, and the theoretical BER lower bound was introduced as the first constraint.Secondly, the extrinsic information gain loss ratio (GLR) was designed to measure the convergence behavior of the improved LT code, and maximizing the GLR was denoted as the second constraint. Finally, the influence of different parameters on algorithm efficiency and coding complexity were analyzed, and the principle of priority selection of parameters was pointed out as the third constraint. The simulation results show that compared with the conventional LT code, the proposed algorithm can reduce the error floor by nearly three orders of magnitude.Besides, the designed LT code outperforms the existing LT codes in literature in terms of bit error rate (BER) performance.…”
