Risk prediction model for poor prognosis after intravenous thrombolysis among ischemic stroke patients aged ≥ 80 years and analysis of follow-up
Published 2025-01-01“…R software was utilized to develop a clinical prediction model and perform internal validation. 2: Ninety days, 180 days, and one year were designated as follow-up time points for all patients. 1.Patients aged ≥ 80 years had higher 90-day poor outcome and mortality (P < 0.001).However, there was no significant difference in symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage between the two groups (P > 0.05).Baseline NIHSS score (OR, 1.15; 95% CI,1.07–1.23; P < 0.001) and admission blood glucose (OR, 1.36; 95% CI,1.11–1.74; P = 0.007) were identified as independent predictors of poor prognosis at 90 days. The area of the prediction model under the receiver operator characteristic curve was 0.77. …”

The clinical efficacy of scalp acupuncture for tinnitus: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Published 2025-03-01“…Results: A total of 20 research studies, with 1430 participants, were included. The systematic review and meta-analysis revealed that the scalp acupuncture groups had a significantly higher clinical effective rate compared to the control groups (RR=1.25, 95 % CI 1.16–1.35, p < 0.00001),with low heterogeneity(p = 0.27,I2=20 %).The scalp acupuncture groups and scalp acupuncture plus auxiliary acupoints groups had greater reduction in tinnitus severity compared to the control groups(SMD=-0.76,95 %CI:-1.02,-0.51,p < 0.00001;SMD:-0.93,95 %CI:-1.52,-0.33,p = 0.002, respectively),with a moderate heterogeneity(p = 0.005,I2=62 %) and a significant heterogeneity (p < 0.00001,I2=86 %) observed due to differences in study design, sample characteristics, and intervention protocols.Sensitivity analysis confirmed the stability of the results. The summary table generated through GRADEpro indicated that the certainty of evidence ranged from moderate to low. …”

Experimental and Numerical Simulation Study on the Mechanical Properties of Integrated Sleeve Mortise and Tenon Steel–Wood Composite Joints
Published 2025-01-01“…In view of the application status and technical challenges of steel–wood composite joints in architecture, this paper proposes an innovative connection technology to solve issues such as susceptibility to pry-out at beam–column joints and low load-bearing capacity and to provide various reinforcement methods in order to meet the different structural requirements and economic benefits. By designing and manufacturing four groups of beam–column joint specimens with different reinforcement methods, including no reinforcement, structural adhesive and angle steel reinforcement, 4 mm thick steel sleeve reinforcement, and 6 mm thick steel sleeve reinforcement, monotonic loading tests and finite element simulations were carried out, respectively. …”
