shp-2 gene knockout upregulates CAR-driven cytotoxicity of YT NK cells
Published 2020-03-01“…In Russia, cancer is the second leading cause of death following cardiovascular diseases. Adoptive transfer of NK cells is a promising approach to fight cancer; however, for their successful use in cancer treatment, it is necessary to ensure their robust accumulation at tumor foci, provide resistance to the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, and to engineer them with higher cytotoxic activity. …”

Childhood socioeconomic background and elevated mortality among the young adult second generation in Sweden: a population-based cohort study
Published 2024-07-01“…Here, we instead analyse the association of second-generation status with childhood SEB.Methods We use administrative register data from Sweden to fit multistate, competing-risk, flexible parametric survival models on a data set of 13 404 deaths in 2.35 million young adults. We examine mortality from all causes and specific causes of death at the generational level and by parental region of birth, both before and after having adjusted for childhood SEB.Results The G2 have higher all-cause mortality hazard rates (HR=1.29 (95% CIs=1.23 to 1.34)) than the majority population before adjusting for childhood SEB. …”

«THE CONSCIENCE OF THE WORLD» OR «CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE»? TO THE ANNIVERSARIES OF THE EVIAN AND BERMUDA CONFERENCES
Published 2018-09-01“…The author concludes that the unpreparedness of European states and the United States to accept ethnic Jews from German-occupied countries on their territory became one of the reasons for their mass death. S. Sklyarov proves the thesis that the Evian and Bermuda conferences demonstrated the consistency of the policies of the 32 member countries, which ultimately resulted in European Jews being the victims of Holocaust. …”

Importance of OsRac1 in Signalling of Pigm-1 Mediated Resistance to Rice Blast Disease
Published 2025-01-01“…This study shows that the nucleotide-binding site (NBS) domain of Pigm-1 facilitates its binding to and activation of OsRac1 while the coiled-coil (CC) domain enables its binding to and activation of RAI1, ultimately inducing cell death. At the same time, after knocking out OsRac1 in the background of Shuangkang 77009 containing Pigm-1, two knockout lines showed susceptibility to rice blast. …”
