Barriers and facilitators to the implementation of integrated community multimorbidity care model in Shanghai-a qualitative study based on normative process theory
Published 2025-06-01“…Objective To analysis of the facilitators and barriers to the implementation of the integrated community multimorbidity care model from the perspective of the implementers, to bridge the implementation gap, and to provide policy recommendations for government. Methods A qualitative interview questionnaire was developed around the four constructs of normalisation process theory (NPT) (coherence, cognitive engagement, collective action and reflective monitoring) and 40 professionals from 11 community health centers in 10 administrative districts of Shanghai were interviewed, with data coded using NVivo 12 software. Results A total of 4 thematic terms and 11 sub-thematic terms were summarized as coherence (perceived value, understanding and implementing the purpose and vision of the model, new skills and requirements), cognitive engagement (implementers’ attitudes towards the new model, multi-sectoral engagement), collective action (current status of model implementation, team members’ cooperation and collaboration, resource support), reflective monitoring (data accessibility, sharing of implementation progress and effectiveness, population labelling and personalized alerts). Conclusion The model faces challenges in implementation such as unclear service objectives, irregular staffing, insufficient resource support, insufficient adhesion with family doctors, unavailability of relevant data, and low utilization of services, etc.It is recommended that clear objectives be set to increase recognition of the model, establish fixed posts and responsibilities for service providers, strengthen information disclosure and sharing between the authorities, the community, and within the team. …”

Assessing the impact of introductory programming workshops on the computational reproducibility of biomedical workflows.
Published 2020-01-01“…Unfortunately, many biomedical researchers have not received formal computational training and often struggle to produce results that can be reproduced using the same data, code, and methods. Programming workshops can be a tool to teach new computational methods, but it is not always clear whether researchers are able to use their new skills to make their work more computationally reproducible.…”

Speech Recognition using Wavelets and Improved SVM
Published 2013-09-01“…The proposed SVM approach can convert local Euclidean distances between frame vectors to angles by projecting these -dimensional vectors together, and get the minimum global distance from the non-linear aligned speech path in order to address audio classification, and hence, sound recognition. The DWT for each frame of the spoken word are taken as a tool for extracting the main feature as a data code vectors, next these data is normalized utilizing the normalized power algorithm that is used to reduce the number of feature vector coefficients then these data is scaled and tested with those stored of the training spoken words to achieve the speaker identification tasks, also the DWT gives fixed amount of data that can be utilized modesty by SVM.Finally, the proposed method is tested and trained upon a very large data base with results limited to ten speakers only (5 males and 5 females) with words of maximally 17 phenomena and its performance gives an accurate and stable results which rises the algorithm efficiency and reduce the execution time with 97% overall accuracy. …”
