Method to improve the performance of network time delay of EPA system
Published 2014-08-01“…In order to improve the performance of network-induced time delay of EPA (Ethernet for plant automation) networked control systems, the interacting mechanism between the control and the communication in EPA system was studied and EPA-CS (EPA cooperative scheduling) method was presented. Through setting their mutually cooperative time slices for function blocks that executed the control tasks and data transmission that executed the communication tasks, and through determining the executing time and frequencies of control tasks in their time slices, the method could accomplish the cooperation between control tasks and communication tasks in EPA system. …”

A survey of resource allocation in non-orthogonalmultiple access systems
Published 2018-08-01“…Non-orthogonalmultiple access(NOMA)is an important candidate technology of the fifth generation(5G)wireless network, which canmeet the low latency, low power consumption, high reliability, high throughput, wide coverage requirements of the next generationmobile communication systems.NOMA utilizes superposition coding at the transmitter and successive interference cancellation at the receiveRto allow several users’datamultiplexing in the same resource block. It improves the spectrum efficiency compared with the traditional orthogonalmultiple access. The research status of resource allocation of NOMA systems was summarized including single-carrier NOMA resource allocation,multi-carrier NOMA resource allocation, cooperative NOMA relay resource allocation, and cooperative NOMA resource allocation under hardware impairment conditions. Finally, themain problems in the current study were summarized and the research challenges and some future research directions of NOMA resource allocation technology were discussed.…”

Research on computing offloading method for maritime observation monitoring sensor network
Published 2021-05-01“…Considering the differences in computing capacity and communication resources of the maritime network nodes, a maritime network connectivity probability based method was proposed for selecting edge computing service nodes.Because of the different node densities in the near-shore and far-shore scenarios, two offloading models were established accordingly. In the near-shore scenario, a multi-node cooperative offloading method was proposed by using the genetic algorithm based on maritime multi-node cooperative offloading. In the far-shore scenario, a fault-tolerant offloading method was proposed based on the particle swarm algorithm with grouping cross learning.Simulation results show that compared with conventional methods, the proposed methods save over 30% network delay and reduces about 20% network costs, which can greatly enhance the maritime user experiences.…”

Multi relay node selection strategy for energy capture collaborative relay network
Published 2017-11-01“…An energy capture cooperative relay network was studied.Unlike traditional cooperative relay networks, the relay nodes generally did not have a fixed energy supply but could carry out energy capture. For this network,a natural question was how to determine whether the relay nodes perform energy capture or data forwarding, and how to select the relay node to assist the information transmission between the source node and the destination node.Based on this problem,a multi-relay node selection scheme was proposed, which select the operation according to the energy of the current time slot of the relay node.In each time slot, the relay node that meet the battery threshold requirements was selected to assist in transmission. The Markov chain was used to model the charging and discharging process of the relay node battery, and the probability of interruption and throughput of the wireless network was obtained. And the value of the battery threshold when the throughput was maximized, that is,when the probability of network breakage was minimum was solved. Finally, the advantages of this scheme were verified by numerical experiments.…”

A transmission technology of environmental monitoring for ocean based on over-the-horizon skywave
Published 2018-09-01“…In view of the serious limitation of local resource supply for remote island and reef and the lack of low cost, high reliability long-distance transmission methods for environmental monitoring, relying on the mobile communication base stations widely distributed on the land,an over-the-horizon(OTH) skywave access network based on wide-area cooperative reception was proposed. The problems of channel fading, link asymmetry and spectrum congestion faced by remote island and reef environments monitoring for an OTH skywave transmission were solved from three aspects:physical layer, network layer and perceptive layer. The simulation results of the lower link transmission waveform and the multi-channel fusion algorithm in the typical skywave channel environment show that the reliable access of low-power transceiver in the remote island and reef within a range of 3 000 km could be guaranteed only through the cooperative reception of three access nodes. There was also some reference to monitoring of national ocean-going ships and border defence traffic pass monitoring.…”

Optimized design of sensing transmission and computing collaborative industrial Internet
Published 2023-06-01“…In view of the new scenario and time-sensitive requirements of sensing-transmission end to computing end in the industrial Internet, and to solve the problem of end-to-end delay in applications that were not up to standard, a network optimized design scheme for sensing-transmission cooperative computing was proposed.First, the sensing-transmission computing cooperative network architecture based on cloud-edge-end was proposed to promote the deep integration of multidimensional systems and heterogeneous resources.Secondly, the network topology construction mode was optimized to reduce the average path length of the network, shorten the propagation distance, and offset the problem of signal decay due to the use of higher frequencies. Finally, the routing method was improved, and an integrated algorithm of topology optimization and routing strategy was designed to reduce the queuing delay in the network, control the end-to-end delay within a bounded range, and weaken the “long tail phenomenon”.The experimental results show that the scheme reduces the end-to-end delay and ensures the real-time and reliability of the network by optimizing the network topology and routing strategy and integrating the design.…”
