Credit Rating Model of Small Enterprises Based on Optimal Discriminant Ability and Its Empirical Study by Zhanjiang Li, Lin Guo

    Published 2021-01-01
“…The innovation of this study is the maximum ratio of the sum of the dispersions of credit scores between different credit ratings and the sum of the dispersions of credit scores within the same credit rating as the objective function, as well as the default loss rate of the next credit grade strictly larger than the default loss rate of the previous credit grade as the inequality constraint; a nonlinear credit rating optimal partition model is constructed. It ensures that the small enterprises with small credit score gap are of the same credit grade, while the small enterprises with large credit score gap are of different credit grades, overcoming the disadvantages of the existing research that only considers the small enterprises with large credit score gap and ignores the small enterprises with small credit score gap. …”

    A Nodulation-Proficient Nonrhizobial Inhabitant of Pueraria phaseoloides by W. M. M. Wedage, A. H. M. N. R. Aberathne, I. N. Harischandra, D. Gunawardana

    Published 2019-01-01
“…When a nifH fragment from the genome of this bacterium was amplified using a pair of nifH primers, it yielded an amplicon of 360 bp that, when sequenced, helped us identify the bacterium, as belonging to a species of Pseudacidovorax intermedius, at 99% sequence identity. When we constructed a phylogenetic tree with neighboring sequences, we encountered nifH sequences of Pseudacidovorax, forming a monophyletic cluster, which too contained a single Azospirillum species. …”

Roman Law on legal personality: pro et contra by Yu. M. Zhornokui

    Published 2022-09-01
“…Attention is drawn to the fact that the current state of the development of civilist thought regarding the development of the category “legal entity” by Roman lawyers indicates the existence of three approaches: 1) Roman lawyers developed and used a legal structure that was different from the citizens of Rome and could participate in the civil turnover of that time; 2) the category of legal entity was not known to Roman lawyers, but the main features characterised to its modern understanding (legal capacity, property separation, the possibility to participate in legal proceedings, etc.) were developed precisely in Ancient Rome; 3) for the jurisprudence of the Roman period, the category “legal entity” or its individual characteristics were not known in the sense that are now attached to the content of the relevant characteristics, but the use of individual constructions, such as “universitas”, “corpus”, “collegia”, “sodalitia”, etc., was intended to show that in private relations, property can exist without being tied to a Roman citizen as a subject of rights. …”
