Joint frequency-angle estimation using a pseudocovariance matrix
Published 2007-01-01“…A computationally simple joint frequency and angle estimation method with good statistical performance was proposed. The proposed method eliminates the effect of additive noise under the assumption that the temporal-correlation length of the noise field is shorter than that of the signals, and constructs a pseudocovariance matrix by exhibiting a suffi-cient temporal correlation to obtain the frequency estimation by implementing the singular value decomposition(SVD) of it,then the angles were obtained one-by-one using 1-D searches. Finally,it is shown that the proposed method is superior in estimating the angles because of the aperture extension and offers good estimation performance of the frequencies at the low computational burden through numerical simulations.…”

Low complexity signal detection algorithm based on Newton iterative algorithm
Published 2022-02-01“…In order to solve the problems of high computational complexity and slow convergence rate of ultra-massive MIMO detection in terahertz communication system, the low complexity signal detection algorithm based on Newton iterative algorithm was proposed.By improving the initial matrix and adding step factor in Newton iteration algorithm, the complexity of the algorithm was reduced, and the convergence speed was increased.By adding adjusting factors, the stability and reliability of the algorithm were guaranteed, and the applicability of the algorithm was also increased.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm have lower computational complexity and faster convergence speed compared with traditional schemes. When the number of iterations is three, the detection performance is close to MMSE algorithm.…”

Lite-CA based key pre-distribution scheme in wireless sensor network
Published 2009-01-01“…Large-scale sensor nodes were usually deployed in potentially adverse or even hostile environment, so the security in these networks was very important.Due to its constraints on node cost, size and power dissipation, sensor’s energy and capabilities on computation, storage and communication were considerably weak compared with general computers. It leaded to many new challenges for designing of key management protocols in WSN.Therefore, a lite-CA based key pre-distribution scheme was suggested. The traits of CA-based authentication framework and identity-based authentication framework were combined by this scheme.Further, the scheme was efficiently implemented based on quadratic residue theory.…”

Spectrum sensing algorithm based on symmetry of cyclic spectral correlation
Published 2011-11-01“…In response to the shortcoming of conventional algorithms, modified SSCA was exploited to calculate the cyclic spectral correlation of received signal for decreasing the computational complexity.Symmetry of cyclic spectral correlation (CSC) was used to detect the idle spectrum, criteria and method of selecting and judging symmetry were proposed.Conventional binary hypothesis condition was translated to concrete value according to symmetry. In order to eliminate the effect of interference and noise,non-zero cyclic frequencies were selected. Finally, the performance of the presented algorithm was compared with the conventional algorithms by virtue of simulation.Simulation results proved the correctness and the superiority of new algorithms.Using symmetry improves the successful detection probability for low SNR and reduces the computational complexity.…”
