    “…An innovative EE-oriented cooperative sensing and transmission scheme in relay-assisted cognitive radio networks,called energy-efficient best-relay cooperative transmission (BCT) was proposed.Based on the BCT scheme,mean energy efficiency (MEE) maximization problem with sensing duration and transmitting power as optimization variables was modeled for fading channels under constraint of minimal secondary outage probability.By virtue of Jensen’s inequality,the original optimization problem was decomposed into two relatively independent subproblems which solved sensing duration and power allocation respectively.And for the two subproblems,an efficient cross iteration based algorithm was proposed to obtain the suboptimal solutions.Both analytical and simulation results demonstrate that the proposals can achieve significantly higher EE while enhancing reliability of secondary transmission remarkably compared to non-cooperation single cognitive transmission schemesin high QoS requirement.…”

    “…A contract-based cooperative spectrum sharing model in cognitive radio network was proposed.In this model,secondary user offers relay service for primary user when primary user's channel is poor.In return,when primary user's channel is good,secondary user can use spectrum with the underlay mode under the condition that the interference is limited.Contract theory in economics was introduced to this framework,the problem of collaboration between the primary and secondary users was modeled as a contract design problem,and the effectiveness function of evaluate primary and secondary users on contract revenue was set up.And the differential evolution algorithm was used to solve the problem.Finally,in different circumstances,primary user collaboration and un-collaboration were contrasted.The results showed that the main users under the condition of no additional input spectrum,not only save the sending power,but also effectively improve the data transfer rate,and improve the energy efficiency and spectrum efficiency.…”

    “…Cognitive radio (CR) can improve spectrum utilization by spectrum sharing or cooperation between the primary user and secondary users.It is well known that energy,interference and relay are also three key resources in cognitive radio network (CRN).Energy cooperation or sharing between the primary user and secondary user will further promote energy efficiency.Energy harvesting from RF interference signal can turn bane (interference) into a boon (green energy).Secondary user relay data of the primary user can enhance QoS of the primary user,also get some opportunities for their own transmission.Thus,four resources cooperation (spectrum,energy,interference,relay) in CRN will improve simultaneously both spectrum efficiency and energy efficiency,and also increase throughput and QoS.The overviews for collaborative utilization problems of four key resources in CRN was given.Firstly,collaboration models of four key resources were analyzed.Then,recent research advances were summarized,including three kinds of resources collaborative utilization (both energy harvesting and relay transmission,both energy cooperation and energy harvesting) and four resources collaborative utilization (simultaneous relay transmission,energy harvesting and energy cooperation) in CRN.Further,some potential challenges of four key resources cooperation in CRN were discussed.Finally,some key future research directions was concluded.…”
