Research on the cooperative offloading strategy of sensory data based on delay and energy constraints
Published 2023-03-01“…The edge offloading of the internet of things (IoT) sensing data was investigated.Multiple edge servers cooperatively offload all or part of the sensing data initially sent to the cloud center, which protects data privacy and improves user experience.In the process of cooperative offloading, the transmission of the sensing data and the information exchange among edge servers will consume system resources, resulting in the cost of cooperation.How to maximize the offloading ratio of the sensing data while maintaining a low collaboration cost is a challenging problem.A joint optimization problem of sensing data offload ratio and cooperative scale satisfying the constraints of network delay and system energy consumption was formulated.Subsequently, a distributed alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) via constraint projection and variable splitting was proposed to solve the problem.Finally, simulation experiments were carried out on MATLAB.Numerical results show that the proposed method improved the network delay and energy consumption compared to the fairness cooperation algorithm (FCA), the distributed optimization algorithm (DOA), and multi-subtasks-to-multi-servers offloading scheme (MTMS) algorithm.…”

Design and implementation of mobile video service quality analysis system
Published 2017-07-01“…Customer perception of mobile video service not only depends on the quality of the network,but also depends on the role of “end,pipeline,cloud,platform”.It is urgent to change the quality assurance mechanism based on the network itself to the end-to-end horizontal integration of customer perception.To solve these problems,the design and implementation of a mobile video service quality analysis system was introduced.The analysis model was established from service,flow direction,area,network element,community and terminal in order to analyze the data source in each part of the mobile video service; key KQI and changing trend of video services was presented,constant performance monitoring was carried out; the problem was found from the users’ perspective,trend analysis of performance deterioration,cause analysis of performance deterioration; automatic or manual processing of the identified problems by distribution work order was carried out,the problems were solved by antomatically or manual dispatch,closed-loop management mechanism was established.This system could improve the management level of mobile video service quality and reduce the cost notably significantly.The framework of the system and the realization of main function part was introduced in detail,and examples of system applications were described.…”

Joint optimization strategy of service cache and resource allocation in mobile edge network
Published 2023-01-01“…Aiming at the problem that computing and storage resources of edge node in a mobile edge computing (MEC) system were limited, and excessive task offloading would cause the mismatch between the computing capacity and the load capacity of the edge server, resulting in the increase of task processing delay, the joint optimization of task offloading and storage resources under the three-layer network architecture composed of multi-user, edge server and cloud server was studied to reduce the overall system delay.For the problem was a mixed integer nonlinear problem, a joint optimization strategy of service caching and resource allocation was proposed.First, the continuous and discrete variables of the original problem were decoupled into two sub-problems, namely, the service cache decision problem and the joint optimization problem of computing resources and communication resources.Then, the linear reconstruction, relaxation method and convex optimization method were used to alternately optimize the two sub-problems to obtain the near-optimal solution.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed strategy can obtain a near-optimal performance with low complexity, and can reduce up to 10% of the task duration compared with other strategies.…”
