Revisiting Angular Momentum Quantization in Bohr's Atomic Model
Published 2022-03-01“… One of the most important developments of modern science was the emergence of the concept of energy quantization which forced its way into our previous classical understanding of matter in nature. Modern day view of matter constituents and present understanding of atomic structure basic to quantum chemistry arose in those first decades of last century. …”

Positive Solutions to Nonlinear Higher-Order Nonlocal Boundary Value Problems for Fractional Differential Equations
Published 2010-01-01“…We study existence of positive solutions to nonlinear higher-order nonlocal boundary value problems corresponding to fractional differential equation of the type 𝑐𝒟𝛿0+𝑢(𝑡)+𝑓(𝑡,𝑢(𝑡))=0, 𝑡∈(0,1), 0<𝑡<1. 𝑢(1)=𝛽𝑢(𝜂)+𝜆2, 𝑢(0)=𝛼𝑢(𝜂)−𝜆1, 𝑢(0)=0, 𝑢(0)=0⋯𝑢(𝑛−1)(0)=0, where, 𝑛−1<𝛿<𝑛, 𝑛(≥3)∈ℕ, 0<𝜂,𝛼,𝛽<1, the boundary parameters 𝜆1,𝜆2∈ℝ+ and 𝑐𝐷𝛿0+ is the Caputo fractional derivative. We use the classical tools from functional analysis to obtain sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions to the boundary value problems. …”

Comparaison du curriculum scolaire prescrit et des représentations des élèves. Le cas des positionnements entre savoirs scientifique et croyances religieuses en Grèce
Published 2018-03-01“…This study consists of a comparison between, on one hand, the positioning between science and religious beliefs officially prescribed in some programs, professor’s books and school textbooks, and on the other hand the positioning between science and religious beliefs really adopted by the students. The students position themselves strongly in favor of the autonomy between scientific knowledge and religious beliefs and, mildly, in disfavor of the fideist or classic concordist conceptions. This is only partially in line with the official curriculum. …”

基于多尺度晶体塑性有限元的GCr15轴承钢拉-压不对称性研究
Published 2021-01-01“…In this paper, stress triaxiality is added to the classical crystal plasticity constitutive model to investigate the experimental phenomenon of tension-compression asymmetry for the GCr15 bearing steel.Firstly, the crystal plasticity constitutive model is extended by considering the effect of stress triaxiality on yield criterion and flow rule in each slip system.Secondly, representative volume element( RVE) was simulated to regenerate the quasi-static uniaxial tensile and compression engineering stress-strain curve of GCr15 bearing steel by using crystal plasticity finite element method. The results show that stress concentration occurs at the grain boundary due to the crystal orientation difference among polycrystalline grains, and under the influence of triaxial stress state, the RVE simulation results show that the stress concentration has a significant effect on tensioncompression asymmetry. Therefore,it is concluded that the effect of stress triaxiality on the texture of mesoscopic crystal is an important factor that causes the phenomenon of tension-compression asymmetry.…”
