Ant colony algorithm of partially optimal programming based on dynamic convex hull guidance for solving TSP problem
Published 2018-10-01“…To solve basic ant colony algorithm’s drawbacks of large search space, low convergence rate and easiness of trapping in local optimal solution,an ant colony algorithm of partially optimal programming based on dynamic convex hull guidance was proposed. The improved algorithm dynamically controlled the urban selection range of the ants, which could reduce the search space of ants on basis of helping the algorithm to jump out of local optimal solution to global optimal solution.Meanwhile, the delayed drift factor and the convex hull constructed by the cities to be chosen were introduced to intervene the current ants’ urban choice,it could increase the diversity of the early solution of the algorithm and improve the ability of ants’ partially optimal programming. Then the pheromone updating was coordinated by using construction information of convex hull and the complete path information that combined local with whole,it could improve the accuracy of the algorithm by guiding the subsequent ants to partially optimal programming. The pheromone maximum and minimum limit strategy with convergence was designed to avoid the algorithm’s premature stagnation and accelerate the solving speed of the algorithm. Finally, the proposed algorithm was applied to four classic TSP models.Simulation results show that the algorithm has better optimal solution, higher convergence rate and better applicability.…”

Evaluation of Water Resources Carrying Capacity in Heilongjiang Province Based on PSO-SVM Model
Published 2023-01-01“…The problem of water resources has triggered a global crisis. With the rapid development of the social economy, the rapid increase in population, and the acceleration of modernization and urbanization, the demand for water in various industries is gradually increasing, and the problems of water shortage and water waste are becoming serious.Heilongjiang Province is an important industrial base and a major grain-producing province in China. With the rapid development of the economy and society, the contradiction between the supply and demand of water resources has become increasingly prominent.Although many measures have been taken to protect water resources in Heilongjiang Province, the development and utilization situation of water resources is still severe. In view of the above problems, this paper established a support vector machine (SVM) model optimized by particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to evaluate the water resources carrying capacity in Heilongjiang Province.Based on the actual situation of Heilongjiang Province,an evaluation index system and index grading standards were established to evaluate the water resources carrying capacity of 13 cities in Heilongjiang Province in 2020.It thus provides a reference for the development and utilization of water resources in the future and plays a certain role in the application and promotion of SVM in water resources. The PSO-SVM model complements the theory of multi-factor comprehensive evaluation.…”

Spectacle and Spectatorship at the Nineteenth-Century American Racetrack
Published 2019-12-01“…In many instances, their spectatorship was not simply directed at the actions of the horses and jockeys, but was instead focused on a broader category of spectacle, for which the nation’s preeminent racetracks became famous, and which was largely unavailable in other venues in this era, particularly outside of the new nation’s few major cities. Drawing upon a varied corpus of textual and visual sources, I contend that the greatest thrill for many race attendees was the opportunity to engage with, or at least look at, a large number of unfamiliar individuals, particularly those who occupied the highest and lowest positions in American society, especially that of the South, in which the majority of tracks were located in the pre-Civil War era. …”

Analysis of the Spatial-Temporal Evolution of Ecological Footprint of Water Resources in Yunnan Province
Published 2021-01-01“…The ecological footprint of water resources is a hot topic of current water resources research.Based on the water resources ecological footprint model, this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial evolution of water resources in Yunnan Province from 2008 to 2018,and then discusses the dynamic development of water resources in the province. The results show that:①From 2008 to 2018,the province's water resources ecological footprint showed a “W”-shaped fluctuating trajectory. The value of agricultural water ecological footprint is the highest among the four types of water resources ecological footprint, indicating that the consumption of water resources by agricultural development is the largest. The carrying capacity, ecological surplus and ecological pressure index of water resources are all in a sustainable development state;the ecological footprint of water resources per 10 000 yuan of GDP is decreasing year by year, and the water consumption efficiency is continuously improving.②In 2008,2013 and 2018,the spatial development of ecological footprint of water resources per capita was unbalanced, and the ecological surplus of water resources per capita was basically in shortage;the ecological footprint of water resources per 10 000 yuan of GDP showed a downward trend, indicating that the industry structure of all cities and prefectures is continuously upgraded, and the water consumption efficiency is continuously improved.…”

Bottom-up urban datafication via digital platforms: a toolkit for hybrid ethnographers
Published 2024-10-01“…The literature on the digitalisation of urban life and its datafication has largely centred on top-down approaches to data production, especially within the realms of smart cities and platform urbanism.
