Interactive relationship between carbon flow and economic growth and influencing factors based on land use transition
Published 2025-01-01“…[Methods] This paper is based on land use, socio-economic, and energy consumption data, employing carbon flow model, entropy TOPSIS method, coupling coordination degree, geographical detector, and geographically weighted regression models to analyze the spatial evolution and influencing factors of the coupling coordination relationship between carbon flow caused by land use transition and economic growth in 30 provinces and cities of China from 2000 to 2020. [Results] The study indicates that: (1) The net carbon flow of 30 provinces and cities in China is mainly dominated by negative carbon flow, which shows an upward and then downward trend, increasing from 7.3×10<sup>8</sup> t in 2000-2005 to 2.0×10<sup>9</sup> t in 2010-2015, and 2015-2020, the carbon flow declined rapidly to 9.1×10<sup>8</sup> t. …”
