D2D data collaboration forwarding mechanism based on contract theory
Published 2018-10-01“…A contract theory-based D2D data forwarding mechanism was proposed for device-to-device (D2D) communications under cellular networks.Firstly, considering the selfishness of users,a model of principal-agent was constructed, which regarded the transmitter user as principal and the idle user as agent. Then, the utility function of the contract was used to construct the optimization problem with the constraint condition.Meanwhile, the utility function of the two sides was converted into the satisfaction degree of the two sides of the contract. Finally, the stable matching with the minimum weight was constructed to obtain the optimal contract solution. The simulation results show that the proposed mechanism can better encourage the idle user to participate in collaborative communication so as to enhance the user’s degree of satisfaction and throughput.…”

A genetic algorithm based method of optimizing dispersion matrix for RDSM system
Published 2022-12-01“…Rectangular differential spatial modulation (RDSM) is a multi-antenna incoherent modulation technology with high spectral efficiency, low power consumption, and zero-overhead for channel estimation.RDSM is especially suitable for 6G communication systems, such as fast-moving Internet of vehicles, Internet of things, cellular networks, etc. However, the construction of the sparse rectangular unitary space-time dispersion matrix (DM) at transmitter is a problem. The proposed Genetic algorithm (GA) will result in less computational complexity than the currently used random research. The fitness of GA was calculated by the rank and determinant criterion (RDC) method to avoid discussions in differential system.Due to characteristics of constellation symbols of RDSM, the proposed method reduced the computational complexity during each single iteration in GA.The simulation results show that the optimized DMS can significantly improve the bit error rate (BER) performance of the RDSM system.Compared with random search, the low-complexity GA effectively improves the DMS optimization efficiency of RDSM.The computational complexity required for optimizing DMS is about 0.1% of random search optimization method.…”

Green 5G ultra-dense wireless heterogeneous networks:guidelines,techniques,and challenges
Published 2017-06-01“…Ultra-dense wireless heterogeneous network (Ud-HetNet) has been recognized as one of the most promising 5G network-organization techniques to significantly improve the wireless capacity and thus solve the 1 000× data challenge faced by cellular networks. However, counter to the expected 5G vision, although benefiting from the spectrum efficiency (SE) improvement,ultra-dense network deployment significantly increases system energy consumption and thus decreases network energy efficiency (EE).The key theories and techniques for energy-efficiently deploying Ud-HetNet were investigated from two aspects of macroscopic network matching and microscopic resource aggregation by exploiting their overall network management capabilities and network diversity effects.Specifically, the overall design guidelines for green evolution were introduced firstly, and then three techniques, namely load-aware base station on/off switching, proactive caching, and interference-aware cross-network resource allocation, were proposed to improve the network EE.Open issues and challenges that need to be further explored were also discussed.…”

Energy efficiency optimization algorithm of heterogeneous networks based on hybrid energy supply and energy cooperation
Published 2022-03-01“…To reduce the base station energy consumption and co-channel interference in heterogeneous cellular networks, a joint optimization algorithm combined with energy harvesting and energy cooperation was proposed with the objective of energy efficiency optimization.First, a mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem for joint resource allocation was constructed considering the constraints of user service quality, the constraints of cellular base station power, and the constraints of renewable energy harvesting.Second, considering that the problem was an NP-hard problem which was difficult to solve directly, the complex original problem was decomposed into three subproblems, such as user association, power allocation, and energy cooperation, with the fixed-variable method, which were solved by using the Lagrangian pairwise method, particle swarm optimization algorithm, and matching theory, respectively. Finally, the final solution of the original problem was obtained by combining the above three algorithms through convergent iterative algorithms. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has improved convergence and system energy efficiency compared with the comparison algorithm.…”
