Characterization of β-Actin Promoter from Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) by . Alimuddin, A. Octavera, O.Z. Arifin, K. Sumantadinata

    Published 2008-07-01
“…The result of sequence analysis showed that the length of DNA fragment obtained is about 1.5 kb and containing the evolutionary conserved sequences of transcription factor for β-actin promoter including CCAAT, CArG and TATA boxes.  Furthermore, tiBP sequence in ptiBP-EGFP construct could regulated GFP expression in muscle of zebrafish embryos injected with the construct. …”

La stips des Alpes à la Méditerranée : interpréter la présence des monnaies dans les sanctuaires d’époque romaine by Raphaël Golosetti

    Published 2019-12-01
“…In our opinion, part of these (the majority) appear to come from the simple dispersal of coins on gallery floors in the “fana” or passageway zones of sanctuaries, in particular during collection box levies, from containers, or from the tables and altars on which they were placed. …”

Exosomes Derived from Apelin-Pretreated Mesenchymal Stem Cells Ameliorate Sepsis-Induced Myocardial Dysfunction by Alleviating Cardiomyocyte Pyroptosis via Delivery of miR-34a-5p by Li T, Zhao Y, Cao Z, Shen Y, Chen J, Huang X, Shao Z, Zeng Y, Chen Q, Yan X, Li X, Zhang Y, Hu B

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Both MSC-EXOs and Apelin-MSC-EXOs suppressed cardiomyocyte pyroptosis in vivo and in vitro, with the latter exhibiting superior protective effects. miR-34a-5p effectively mediated Apelin-MSC-EXOs to exert their cardioprotective effects in SMD with high mobility group box-1 (HMGB1) as the potential target. Mechanistically, Apelin-MSC-EXOs delivered miR-34a-5p into injured cardiomyocytes, thereby ameliorating cardiomyocyte pyroptosis via regulation of the HMGB1/AMPK axis. …”

Human hair biochar to remove malachite green dye and bisphenol-A contamination by M. Kamaraj, P. Kamali, R. Kaviya, K. Abishek, B. Navinkumar, T.G. Nithya, L.S. Wong, J. Aravind

    Published 2024-07-01
“…The efficiency of adsorbent investigated over Malachite green and bisphenol-A in a batch experiment and performance variation of three parameters: A: potential of hydrogen (3, 6, 9), B: duration (60, 150, 240 minutes), and C: Human hair biochar dose (0.1, 0.3, 0.5 gram per liter) were evaluated via box-behnken design. Through analysis of variance and numerical expectation, the optimal potential of hydrogen, duration, and Human hair biochar dose was predicted as 3, 150 minutes, and 0.5 grams per liter, which resulted in a maximum removal of 96 percent for malachite green and 83 percent for bisphenol-A.CONCLUSION: This study demonstrated the facile heat-assisted development of biochar from human hair waste as a potential candidate for environmental remediation. …”
