The First Case Report in Italy of Di George Syndrome Detected by Noninvasive Prenatal Testing
Published 2015-01-01“…We report here the first case of Di George syndrome detected by NIPT in Italy; blood was drawn at 12 weeks’ gestation. The patient had an amniocentesis to confirm the diagnosis by MLPA (multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification) and an ultrasound aimed to detect the features associated with the syndrome. …”

Advancing Insights into Large-Artery Stiffening in Humans Through the Application of Multi-omics
Published 2024-07-01“…Abstract A healthy aorta limits excess arterial pulsatility and protects the microvasculature from the effects of fluctuating blood flow and pressure. Aging and various pathologic states impair this cushioning function, a phenomenon known as large-artery stiffening (LAS). …”

Multimodal Imaging of Neural Progenitor Cell Fate in Rodents
Published 2008-03-01“…We show that both imaging modalities are sensitive in detecting reporter gene expressing NPCs; however, PET, by the use of 9-[4-[ 18 F]fluoro-3-hydroxymethyl)butyl]guanine ([ 18 F]FHBG), detects NPCs only at sites of disrupted blood-brain barrier. Furthermore, both imaging modalities can be used to detect stem cell fate and migration and indicate excessive proliferation and aberrant migration. …”

Clinical efficacy of antibiotic-loaded bone cement and negative pressure wound therapy in multidrug-resistant organisms diabetic foot ulcers: a retrospective analysis
Published 2025-01-01“…The control group received conventional treatment, routine debridement, and NPWT treatment, while the experimental group received ALBC treatment in addition to the treatment plan of the control group. Measurements of blood inflammatory indicators, foot hemodynamic indicators, wound bacterial clearance time, wound healing time, and hospital stay were taken before and after treatment for both groups.ResultsInflammatory indexes, Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), and internal diameter of dorsalis pedis arteriosus of both groups after treatment were significantly better than those before treatment, and the improvement of the experimental group was more obvious than that of the control group; the experimental group had a significantly shorter time of trauma bacterial turnover, healing time of trauma, and hospitalization time compared with that of the control group (P<0.05).…”
