Optimal active defense decision model of wireless communication network under APT attack by Meng MENG, Danni WANG, Jun LYU, Fuliang ZHANG

Published 2024-02-01
“…The optimal active defense decision can ensure the security and stability of wireless communication networks. In order to improve the defense effectiveness of wireless communication networks, an optimal active defense decision model for wireless communication networks under APT attacks was proposed.Wireless communication network logs were associated, a set of APT attack objects were constructed, the absolute compatibility of APT attack events was calculated through feedback compatibility coefficients, and APT attack behaviors were predicted.Based on the channel bandwidth of APT attack sources on wireless communication networks, the location of the wireless communication network being attacked by APT was obtained, and the weight coefficients of wireless communication network nodes were used to extract the APT attack characteristics of the wireless communication network.Using the attack and defense diagram, the degree of damage caused by APT attacks to wireless communication networks was calculated.By defining the security status of wireless communication networks, an optimal active defense decision model for wireless communication networks was constructed. The experimental results show that the proposed model can increase the packet rejection rate and throughput of attack packets to over 90% and 16 000 bit/s respectively when defending against APT attacks in wireless communication networks, with lower time delay and better defense effectiveness.…”

Impossible differential cryptanalysis of Saturnin algorithm by Zilong JIANG, Chenhui JIN

Published 2022-03-01
“…A lightweight block cipher, Saturnin, is an AES-like algorithm. In a resource-constrained environment, Saturnin can also provide high security. The impossible differential analysis on Saturnin was proposed.First, based on the structure of Saturnin, the sufficient condition of 3.5-round impossible differential distinguisher of Saturnin was presented and proved, and 270.1truncated impossible differential distinguishers could be quickly constructed by utilizing the sufficient condition. Then, from the constructed 270.1distinguishers, the 64 distinguishers could be picked out pointedly and classified into four types.Four attack trails could be obtained by appending two rounds before the four types of distinguishers. These four attack trails had the same plaintext structure and a number of common subkey bits. With the help of these two properties, the complexity of the attack scheme could be reduced.Combined with the analysis technologies such as early abort, present the 5.5-round impossible differential attack scheme with 2176.88chosen plaintexts, 2143.88 256-bit blocks, and 2176.915.5-round encryption. As so far, this is the known attack scheme for Saturnin against impossible differential attack.…”

Compensation of orbital-angular-momentum multiplexed communication system with wavefront correction by Li ZOU, Le WANG, Shi-bing ZHANG, Sheng-mei ZHAO

Published 2015-10-01
“…It was shown that the quality of free-space optical communication system using OAM(orbital angular momentum)multiplexing was inevitably degraded by AT(atmospheric turbulence).A wavefront phase correction based on Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm to mitigate the wave front phase distortion of the OAM-multiplexed system transmitting through AT was proposed. The simulation results show that the crosstalk caused by AT decreases by using the proposed scheme. When the refractive index structure constant of AT <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <msubsup> <mi>C</mi> <mi>n</mi> <mn>2</mn> </msubsup> </math></inline-formula> is lower than<inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mn>2</mn><mo>×</mo><msup> <mn>10</mn> <mrow> <mo>−</mo><mn>15</mn></mrow> </msup> <msup> <mi>m</mi> <mrow> <mo>−</mo><mfrac> <mn>2</mn> <mn>3</mn> </mfrac> </mrow> </msup> </math></inline-formula> ,the BER(bit error rate)performance is decreased by two or three orders of magnitude with the proposed scheme.…”

Design of OFDM-IM system based on IRS-assisted by Mengmeng ZHAO, Liming HE, Fangfang LIU

Published 2023-07-01
“…Index modulation (IM) and intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) are emerging mobile communication technologies. In order to improve the reliability of traditional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system, an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with index modulation (OFDM-IM) system based on IRS-assisted was designed.Firstly, the OFDM-IM system was designed by using spatial modulation and frequency domain modulation to increase the Euclidean distance between subcarriers. Then, by establishing an equivalent circuit model, a practical IRS model was obtained. Finally, an alternating optimization algorithm was used to optimize the active transmission power of the access point (AP) and passive beamforming of the IRS jointly. The simulation results show that compared to the benchmark scheme, the symbol error rate (SER) or bit error rate (BER) of the OFDM-IM system based on IRS-assisted can be reduced by 60%~90%.Especially in the case of high signal-to-noise ratio, the SER or BER of the system can reach 1.0×10-6, which indicates that the introduction of IM and IRS technologies has optimized the link transmission quality of end-to-end communication system. In addition, based on the IRS-assisted OFDM-IM system as the standard, simulations are conducted to demonstrate the impact of various parameters from the IRS model and IM.It concludes that the parameters in the system should be selected reasonably according to channel state information (CSI).…”

Published 2022-01-01
“…With its significant advantages of ultra-low latency, ultra-high bandwidth, and ultra-large-scale connection, 5G technology effectively compensates for the shortcomings of traditional optical fiber communication in the distribution network field, and provides a new network communication method for power distribution applications. However, the information security issues brought by the applications of 5G technology have appeared gradually.Based on this, a distribution network application scheme based on quantum secure communication and 5G hard-slicing private network was proposed. An end-to-end 5G hard-slicing private network for distribution network services was customized, and ensuring data transmission security by quantum secure communication technology. And this scheme has been deployed and verified in the actual distribution service network scenario, and the results showed that the average delay of 5G hard-slicing private network was 16.89 ms, the download sending and receiving rates were 380 Mbit/s and 371 Mbit/s, respectively, the upload sending and receiving rates were 31.2 Mbit/s and 30 Mbit/s, which meets the communication requirements of distribution network applications.Based on quantum secure communication technology, the quantum bit error rate was 0.75%, and the transmitted data can be encrypted and decrypted smoothly, which verified the feasibility of quantum secure communication and 5G hard-slicing technology in the distribution network.…”
