“…Due to the large amount of personal privacy information contained,the medical big data formed in the health care industry was faced with potential threats of both external attacks and internal data leakages.However,traditional access control technology didn’t take into account the important role of user access purpose in the access control schemes that emphasized data privacy,and existing symmetric and asymmetric encryption technologies both face problems such as the complexity of key and certificate management.To address these problems,a novel access control scheme based on PBAC model and IBE encryption technology was proposed,which could provide flexible access control of encrypted medical data.By introducing the concept of conditioned purpose,the PBAC model was extended to achieve full coverage of purpose trees.Furthermore,the scheme used patient ID,conditioned bit and intended purpose as the IBE public key,with which patients’ data were encrypted.Only users who pass the authentication and whose access purposes conform to the intended purposes can obtain the corresponding private keys and the encrypted data,thereby achieving access to patients’ information.Experimental results prove that the scheme can achieve the goals of fine-grained access control and privacy protection with high performance.…”

“…To overcome the drawbacks of existing tone reservation(TR) techniques,an efficient TR algorithm combined with active constellation extension (ACE-TR) was proposed for reducing the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of or-thogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal.By means of a specially designed iterative procedure and a joint optimization approach for PAPR and bit-error-rate (BER) performances,ACE-TR was able to obtain both an im-proved BER and minimized out-of-band interference while reducing the PAPR effectively.A comprehensive theoretical analysis was presented,and some important results including the bounds of achievable PAPR gain,BER bound,and maximum iteration number were derived.Specifically,by adaptively adjusting the iterative parameters in the optimization approach,more trade-off flexibility between PAPR reduction and BER performance can be offered to satisfy various de-sign requirements.Simulations demonstrate that ACE-TR can dramatically decrease the number of required it ions to reach the desired PAPR with low computation complexity.In addition,the transmitted OFDM symbols using the pro-posed ACE-TR have less in-band distortion and lower out-of-band spectral regrowth than traditional TR algorithms.…”

“…The transmission distance of satellite IoT is much further than terrestrial IoT, resulting in a signifi cant power loss on the transmission link.Thus the received signal power at a receiver will be signifi cantly lower.Combining a high-performance FEC coding and LoRa modulation with a signifi cant spreading factor enables reliable communication at very low signal-to-noise ratios.However, LoRa modulation dramatically decrease spectral effi ciency as the spreading factor increases.An interleaved LoRa transmission scheme that could achieved high spectral effi ciency with a low bit error rate (BER) was proposed.Firstly, a non-coherent soft demodulation algorithm was presented for LoRa and the corresponding performance comparison with the use of Turbo and LDPC codes.Then proposed a soft demodulation algorithm for interleaved-LoRa transmission.Simulation results showed that Turbo coded interleaved-LoRa system outperformed the uncoded system by about 4 dB at a BER=10^-5, which was equivalently to a 55%~57% improvement on communication distance in free space.Furthermore, the spectral effi ciency was improved by approximately 23% compared to the existing Turbo-LoRa scheme.…”

“…An anti-fading diversity receiving approach to body-area communications was proposed.A pair of opposite-sense called planar endfire circularly polarized antennas (PECPA) was employed to implement the receiving approach.The wide beamwidth CP characteristic of the PECPA was used to mitigate the height-dependent fadings.Antenna designs and body-area propagation measurements were performed at 5.8 GHz-band.An off-body channel model was established,and a channel simulator was accordingly developed.All results were compared to the cases using linearly polarized (LP) antennas diversity on equal conditions.The results show that the equal-gain-combination (EGC) signal levels for CP diversity reception are 2.1 dB greater than the LP one (with polarization mismatching loss removed).The rootmean-square delay spread (RDS) and number of multi-path component (MPC) can be significantly reduced.In addition,the simulated bit error rate (BER) of the body-area communication system using CP diversity can be improved by one order of magnitude compared the LP diversity one.The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed approach has been evidently validated by the experimental and simulated results.…”
