Improved Polar selective decoding and forwarding cooperation
Published 2020-01-01“…An improved Polar selective decoding and forwarding (IPSDF) scheme based on cooperative threshold de-cision was proposed.Firstly,a new construction of Polar codes according to the fading channel state information (CSI) was proposed. Then,a relay with best CSI was selected from the candidate relay set as the best relay. In addition, the proposed Polar codes were introduced into the cooperative communication system,to get coding gain and reduce the complex of encoding and decoding.Simulation results show that the proposed Polar codes achieve about 0.3 dB gain at bit-error-rate (BER) of 10−3.And using a classic multi-relay cooperative model, the proposed scheme achieves about 0.8 dB and 1.3 dB gain at BER of 10−3,when compared with those the existing DF Polar+ and network Polar coded coopera-tion scheme. Therefore, the IPSDF scheme can be used to improve BER performance in a multi-relay cooperative system and it is quite suitable for heterogeneous network applications in cooperative communication.…”

High-speed transmission characteristics of nonlinear spectral broadening carrier in turbulent channel
Published 2021-01-01“…The nonlinear spectral broadening light source was used as a partially coherent carrier source with high repetition frequency to carry out experimental research on high-speed information transmission in atmospheric turbulence channels.A partially coherent beams source with nonlinear spectral broadening was obtained by pumping a highly nonlinear fiber with a picosecond fiber laser, and the repetition frequency could reach 10 GHz.The 10 Gbit/s pulse high-speed digital modulation was used and transmitted through a simulated atmospheric turbulence channel, the signal-to-noise ratio of the coherent optical carrier and partially coherent optical carrier before and after the turbulent channel transmission is reduced from 16.83 dB and 11.83 dB to 4.31 dB and 5.64 dB, respectively. In the simulated atmospheric turbulence channel at ∆T=230℃, when the bit error rate is 3.8×10-3, the sensitivity of partially coherent optical carrier links reaches-27.8 dBm, which is 1.6 dB higher than that of coherent optical carriers.…”

Joint optimization of dispersion matrix and 3D constellation for STSK system based on improved genetic algorithm
Published 2021-09-01“…Space-time shift keying (STSK) is a modulation scheme used in multi-input multi-output (MIMO) communication systems. It uses a pre-designed dispersion matrix set (DMS) to realize the flexible design of the system between multiplexing and diversity. An improved genetic algorithm (GA) was proposed to assist the joint optimization of DMS and 3D constellations, that is, the DMS and 3D constellations were jointly coded as the chromosome of GA , and the coding gain corresponding to the rank and determinant criterion was adopted as the overall fitness value.Through efficient selection and improved mutation and crossover strategies, DMS and 3D constellations with low bit error rate (BER) can be obtained. At the same time, the symmetry of the 3D constellation was used to greatly reduce the computational complexity of according to the fitness value the coding gain. The theoretical average paired error probability (ABEP) of the 3D STSK scheme was deducted. The simulation results show that, compared with the traditional GA and random search schemes, the improved GA proposed can significantly reduce the complexity of system implementation while ensuring BER performance.…”

A reduced-complexity compressed sensing channel estimation for underwater acoustic channel
Published 2021-03-01“…Aiming at the sparse characteristics of underwater acoustic channels for shallow seas, a reduced-complexity look-ahead backtracking orthogonal matching pursuit (RC-LABOMP) channel estimation algorithm was proposed.Firstly, two types of support sets of orthogonal matching pursuit and subspace pursuit channel estimation algorithms were calculated, and then prior information based on the intersection and union of the two support sets were preprocessed. At last, the preprocessed prior information was used to complete look-ahead backtracking orthogonal matching pursuit channel estimation. The preprocessed prior information leads to the decrease of the iteration number of original LABOMP, and reduction of the atom index range, thus the proposed algorithm can reduce the computational complexity of original LABOMP significantly. In addition, combining the proposed algorithm with the underwater acoustic Turbo equalization system is more suitable for underwater acoustic communication systems.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm demonstrates high estimation accuracy and low bit error rate performance under both conditions of random channels and underwater acoustic channels. It also reduces the computational complexity of the LABOMP algorithm. Therefore, it is an effective method for shallow seas underwater acoustic channels estimation algorithm.…”

Research on LBS privacy preservation based on pseudorandom permutation in road network
Published 2017-06-01“…A method of privacy preservation based on pseudorandom permutation was put forward for the issues of location privacy and query content privacy.Firstly, the distribution information of points of interest (PoI) based on the vertexes in the road network was organized, each single road vertex was taken as the foundational processing object.Based on the pseudorandom permutation,a permutation scheme of the point-of-interest records at the LBS server's end was put forward,a 32-bit random seed was adopted to generate a permuted table in the scheme, and the point-of-interest records were encrypted and permuted according to the table. These processed records were stored in the LBS database. Then a trusted intermediate server, replacing of the user, issued a query request with a record number instead of the query content to the LBS server. The LBS server could not determine which kind of PoI the user was interested in or which road section the user was locating on,and therefore the scheme achieved private information retrieval. Finally, the efficiency in the metrics of query accuracy, communication overhead and processing time was also analyzed.By the performance analysis and extensive experiments, the proposed scheme is proved to be location untraceable and query content uncorrelation.…”

Performance analysis of DSSS system with periodic sequence against CW interference1
Published 2007-01-01“…Based on the brief account of the performance analysis result of direct sequence spread spectrum(DSSS) system against single tone continuous wave(CW) interference obtained from the traditional stand Gaussian approximation(SGA) hypothesis, the mathematical expression of the interference component of the symbol decision variable in the periodic sequence DSSS system under CW interference was deduced and the actual performance of DSSS system with a periodic sequence against CW interference was researched by theoretical analysis and numerical simulations. The results indicate that the interference component of the symbol decision variable in the periodic sequence DSSS system under CW interference takes on a constant level or a monochromatic fluctuation, which does not approach the standard Gaussian distribution, and the actual performance of DSSS system with a periodic sequence against CW interference is completely different from the analytic result resorted to the stand Gaussian approximation(SGA).The bit error performance is correlative not only with the interference-signal ratio(ISR),with the frequency offset and with phase of the CW interference sensitively, but also with the individual spread spectrum code sequence.…”

An Energy-Efficient Multi-User’s Resource Allocation Scheme
Published 2013-04-01“…In wireless environment, the increases in the number of users and the demand for a higher rate have triggered rapidly booming energy consumption at the base station. Therefore, energy efficient design in wireless network has become very essential. An energy efficient multi-user OFDM downlink resource allocation scheme was studied, using the distributed way.Firstly, according to user’s average channel gain and the minimum requirements of user’s bits, subcarriers were allocated, combined with the idea of proposed energy-efficient criterion. Then better channels were assigned to each user in accordance with each user’s allocated subcarrier numbers.Again each user’s average bits were assigned on the user’s allocated subcarriers and optimal adjustment using energy-efficient criterion had to be made to ensure the minimum power. The simulation results show that under the conditions of satisfying bit-error rate and transmission rate for users, the power can be reduced by 5~6 dB in the proposed algorithm, compared with the power in the static frequency division multiple access resource allocation.Furthermore, the power can be reduced by 2~4 dB,compared with the power in a existing classical distributed algorithm.…”

Error performance of CE-OFDM based AF systems with relay selection
Published 2019-12-01“…Constant envelope (CE) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) can develop the advantages of OFDM,and eliminate the shortcomings of high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and sensitivity to non-linear distortion of power amplifiers. The error performance of OFDM based amplify-and-forward (AF) cooperative system with relay selection will be deteriorated due to feedback delay and other factors.Minimum mean square error (MMSE) Wiener channel predictor can alleviate the deterioration of error performance of wireless systems caused by feedback delay. For this reason, the CE-OFDM based AF cooperative system with relay selection and MMSE channel prediction which can overcome the shortcomings of OFDM and the influence of feedback delay was proposed, and its lower bound expressions for the average bit error rate (ABER) of rectangular quadrature amplitude modulation over Rayleigh block fading channels were derived. The numerical calculation and simulation results show that the lower bound expressions for the ABER of the above system has high accuracy when the modulation coefficients are small and can be used to design the AF cooperative system with CE-OFDM,channel prediction, and relay selection.…”
