    Published 2012-03-01
“…On the basis of analyzing some existing video watermarking al ithms and combining with the new features of the H.264/AVC video coding standard,a new robust video watermarking algorithm based on texture feature was proposed. The proposed algorithm firstly performs the 4×4 integer discrete cosine transform on the current frame in purpose of identifying whether it is the texture block. Then the watermarking is embedded by adopting the way of differential energy for selecting the appropriate coefficients adaptively. The experimental result shows that the proposed algorithm has little impact on the video quality and bit-rate,moreover,its robustness can effectively resist the common attacks such as the gauss noise, low pass filter and re-coded performed on the video watermarking.…”

Joint channel and impulsive noise estimation method for OFDM systems by Xinrong LYU, Youming LI, Mingchen YU

    Published 2018-03-01
“…Aiming at the impulsive noise occurring in OFDM systems,an impulsive noise mitigation algorithm based on compressed sensing theory was proposed. The proposed algorithm firstly treated the channel impulse response and the impulsive noise as a joint sparse vector by exploiting the sparsity of both them. Then the sparse Bayesian learning framework was adopted to jointly estimate the channel impulse response, the impulsive noise and the data symbols,in which the data symbols were regarded as unknown parameters.Compared with the existing impulsive noise mitigation methods, the proposed algorithm not only utilized all subcarriers but also did not use any a priori information of the channel and impulsive noise. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves significant improvement on the channel estimation and bit error rate performance.…”

    Published 2021-06-01
“…A typical sparse code multiple access (SCMA) system utilizes orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology with cyclic prefix (CP) to combat multipath fading in wireless channels. Therefore, its capacity is reduced by the CP-insertion.To address this issue, the SCMA scheme based on CP-free OFDM using the time domain precoding (TDP) algorithm was proposed and the proposed scheme was termed as TDP-OFDM SCMA.The transceiver structure was designed, and the capacity plus the bit error rate (BER) performances under various channels with different overload rates and with channel estimation errors were evaluated via the simulations. Also, the power consumption problem in TDP-OFDM SCMA was discussed. The simulation results show that under the same overload rate, the capacity of TDP-OFDM SCMA can be increased by up to 25% if compared with the SCMA based on CP-OFDM.…”

Nonlinear robust precoding for coordinated multipoint transmission by Zhe-qi GU, Zhong-pei ZHANG

    Published 2015-10-01
“…A nonlinear robust precoding algorithm was proposed, which redesigned the feedback matrix, the forward matrix and the scaling matrix of the traditional tomlinson-harashima precoding algorithm based on the statistical characteristics of the downlink channel state information errors.Simulation results show that the nonlinear robust precoding algorithm can achieve better performance than the traditional linear and nonlinear precoding algorithms when the downlink channel state information errors exist.Due to the different downlink channel state information errors between user equipments in the coordinated multi-point transmission, the traditional “best-first” ordering algorithm was invalid. So an improved ordering algorithm was proposed to reduce the average bit error rate of the nonlinear robust precoding algorithm.…”

    Published 2018-12-01
“…Focused on the issue that the problem of low precision of channel estimation and complex feedback scheme in massive MIMO system,a compression sampling matching pursuit (BCC-CoSAMP) algorithm based on coefficient correlation was proposed in the differential channel estimation and feedback scheme. In this algorithm, the inner product of the relationship between two vectors in the CoSAMP algorithm was replaced by the vector relation based on the correlation coefficient,so the atoms with strong correlation of the original signal were quickly selected to improve the accuracy of channel estimation. The simulation results show that the proposed BCC-CoSAMP algorithm has an improved channel estimation accuracy compared with the CoSAMP algorithm and an average increase of the total system rate of 1.25 bit/(s.Hz) at low signal to noise ratio (SNR).…”

    Published 2019-03-01
“…Impulsive noise interference can seriously affect the performance of underwater acoustic communication systems. An impulsive noise suppression method based on regularized threshold iteration was presented.Firstly, the null subcarrier matrix was used to separate impulsive noise from Gaussian white noise and useful signals. Then, based on the theory of compressed sensing, the impulsive noise estimation problem was transformed into a regularization problem by introducing a threshold iteration, and the impulsive noise was estimated by using a threshold function to obtain the estimated value of the impulsive noise. Finally, the estimated impulsive noise was subtracted from the received signal. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the bit error rate (BER) and mean square error (MSE),and improve the reliability of signal transmission in underwater acoustic communication environment.…”

“…A segmented cyclic redundancy check (CRC) assisted decoding algorithm was proposed. This method makes use of the high parallelism of BP decoding and the high reliability of CRC verification, and uniformly or proportionally disperses CRC verification bits into the original information bits.Simulation results show that when the code length N is 1 024 and the SNR is 3.5 dB,the average iterations of segmented CRC(2,16×2)and CRC (2,24+8) are 2.7 and 2.8 times less than those of G matrix based decoding. When the code length M is 896,the two segmented methods with a bit error rate of 10-5obtained about 0.7 dB gain compared with the non-CRC assisted BP puncturing decoding.…”
