Ginsenoside Rh2 regulates triple-negative breast cancer proliferation and apoptosis via the IL-6/JAK2/STAT3 pathway
Published 2025-01-01“…Functional assays were conducted to assess the impact of ginsenoside Rh2 on TNBC cell behavior. Additionally, ELISA, Western blot, and quantitative real-time PCR were used to further investigate the mechanisms of ginsenoside Rh2-induced apoptosis in TNBC cells.ResultsThrough network analysis, 47 common targets were identified, and Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis suggested that ginsenoside Rh2 may exert therapeutic effects in TNBC by influencing apoptosis, cell proliferation, and protein kinase activity. …”

The problem of conservation of gene pools of domesticated animals
Published 2017-07-01“…The arguments in favor of preserving local breeds are: 1) economic factors, such as moderation of quality requirements for food products, moderation of hygienic and climatic conditions (new types of diseases, vaccines, changes in the external environment), necessity to keep a reserve for successful breeding, opportunity to use local breeds in harsh environmental conditions; 2) scientific factors, in particular, possibility of studying the gene pool of local breeds in order to reconstruct the evolution of domesticated species (exploring local breeds can reveal the mechanisms of the evolutionary processes, ontogeny, behavior patterns, natural and artificial selection); 3) cultural and historical factors related to the fact that native breeds represent living monuments of traditional culture of the population. …”

Predicting Geostationary 40–150 keV Electron Flux Using ARMAX (an Autoregressive Moving Average Transfer Function), RNN (a Recurrent Neural Network), and Logistic Regression: A Com...
Published 2023-05-01“…Only predictors from 1 or 3 hr before were necessary and a detailed description of flux time series behavior was not needed. Stepwise selection of these variables trimmed non‐contributing parameters for a more parsimonious and portable logistic regression model that predicted as well as neural network‐derived models. …”

Effect of Electroacupuncture at Shenting and Baihui Acupoints on Ability of Learning and Memory and Expression of Autophagy Related Genes and Proteins in Cerebral Ischemia-reperfus...
Published 2016-08-01“…Morris water maze experiment was used to observe learning and memory ability of rats, TTC staining was used to observe the change of brain infarction area of rats, RT-PCR and Western Blot were used to detect the expression of autophagy related genes and proteins in hippocampus.Results:④Morris water maze outcomes showed that compared with the model group, the escape latency time of rats in the EA group was obviously shortened, the number of across-platform was increased and the distance was shortened (P<0.05).④Compared with the model group, the nerve defect scale of brain ischemia-reperfusion injury rats in the EA group was decreased (P<0.05).④TTC staining results showed that the area of brain infarction in the EA group and model group was respectively higher than that in the sham operation group, and the volume of brain infarction in the EA group was reduced compared with the model group (P<0.05).④Compared with the model group, the levels of Beclin 1, LC3Ⅰ/Ⅱand PI3K mRNA and protein in the left side of hippocampus in the EA group were increased (P<0.05).Conclusion:EA at the DU24 and DU20 acupoints can reduce the cerebral infarction, and improve animal behaviors, and protect the neuronal injury. Regulation of autophagy network system may be one of the biologic mechanisms of EA improving cognitive impairment after stroke.…”
