Fractal Analysis of Fragmentation Distribution of Rockbursts Induced by Low-Frequency Seismic Disturbances
Published 2021-01-01“…The results show that the fragmentation distributions of both the seismically induced and self-initiated rockbursts exhibit fractal behaviors. For the moderate seismically induced rockbursts, as the static stresses (i.e., the maximum and minimum static stresses) and disturbance amplitude increase, the fractal dimension increases, whereas, as the disturbance frequency increases, the fractal dimension decreases first and then increases. …”

Effects of Oblique Incidence of SV Waves on Nonlinear Seismic Response of a Lined Arched Tunnel
Published 2020-01-01“…Consequently, the oblique incidence method is applied to evaluate the seismic behaviors of the tunnel. The numerical results reveal that (1) the oblique incidence of the seismic wave results in a larger seismic response; (2) the response amplitudes of the stress and displacement increase with the increase of incident angles and reaching the maximum in the case of 30° incident angle; (3) the damage extent increases with an increase in the incident angles, and the oblique incidence of the seismic wave is believed to increase the spatial difference of damage distribution.…”

Reconfigurable Photonic Lattices Based on Atomic Coherence
Published 2025-01-01“…Studies of photonic lattices are usually performed in solid‐state materials, where the required periodic susceptibilities can be achieved by employing the femtosecond laser direct‐writing or optical induction method, and have spawned flourishing achievements in manipulating the behaviors of light. Recently, the concept of electromagnetically induced photonic lattice (EIPL) is proposed under the well‐known electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) in coherently prepared multilevel alkali‐metal atomic systems, where the strong coupling beams producing EIT possess spatially periodic intensity profiles. …”
