Vehicle trajectory prediction based on spatio-temporal Transformer feature fusion by ZHAO Wenhong, WANG Wei, WAN Zilu

    Published 2024-11-01
“…Subsequently, a temporal self-attention mechanism was utilized to extract the temporal dependencies between consecutive frames, thereby generating a set of spatiotemporal features that reflect the dynamic behavior of vehicles. These features were then fed into a decoder to predict the motion trajectories of vehicles over the next 5 s. …”

Directional entropy based model for diffusivity-driven tumor growth by Marcelo E. de Oliveira, Luiz M. G. Neto

    Published 2015-11-01
“…In our formulation, the tumor aggressiveness and morphological behavior is tissue-type dependent, i.e. alterations in white and gray matter regions (which can e.g. be induced by normal aging in healthy individuals or neurodegenerative diseases) affect both tumor growth rates and their morphology. The feasibility of this new conceptual approach is supported by previous observations that the fractal dimension, which correlates with the Shannon entropy we calculate, is a quantitative parameter that characterizes the variability of brain tissue, thus, justifying the further evaluation of this new conceptual approach.…”

Effect of pH on the Phase Equilibrium of a Ternary Mixture of Neopentyl Glycol, Salt, and Water by Y. Zhang, D. G. Li

    Published 2025-01-01
“…The results showed that the two-phase region expanded, and both the length and slope of the tie-lines increased with rising pH values. The phase behavior was analyzed using the Bancroft, Othmer-Tobias, and Hand equations, the measured data showing acceptable consistency, and the Bancroft equation providing the best fit. …”

Effect of preparation methods on morphology of active manganese dioxide and 2,4-dinitrophenol adsorption performance by Hua-jun Chen, Wenjie Tian, Wuxiu Ding

    Published 2018-05-01
“…The shape of active manganese dioxide prepared at room temperature and pressure was short rod-like while active manganese dioxide synthesized by hydrothermal method was mesoporous fibers and had better adsorption performance. The adsorption behavior of 2,4-dinitrophenol on mesoporous manganese dioxide was well described by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm equation ( R 2 >0.99) and pseudo-second-order kinetic equation ( R 2 >0.99), so the adsorption process maybe a chemical and monolayer adsorption. …”

Performance analysis of zero-forcing coordinated MIMO transmission in interference channels by Hai-rong WANG, Jian DONG, Yong-ming HUANG, ANGLV-xi Y

    Published 2012-12-01
“…The performance of the zero-forcing (ZF) coordinated transmit strategy in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) interference channels was investigated. With the goal to derive analytical expression of its performance metric such as the sum rate and the outage probability, the asymptotic behavior of the performance metric was examined with the MIMO dimension tending to infinity.Using the random ma ix theory,an asymptotic estimate of all the eigenvalues of the effective channel matrix in the ZF coordinated transmit strategy was first proposed.Based on that, two closed-form expressions of the sum rate were derived, from which the scaling law of the sum rate with the MIMO dimension was obtained.Furthermore, using the multivariate statistics about the probability density distribution of the minimum eigenvalue of a Wishart matrix, the analytical expression of the outage probability for the coordinated transmit scheme was achieved under two special cases.Simulation results show that the proposed tical expression of the performance metric is valid not only in the large-dimension regime, but also in the normal-dimension regime.…”
