The behavior of the lattice parameters in the Bi-Sn-Zn system by Braga Helena M., Ferreira J., Malheiros L.F.

    Published 2007-01-01
“…For some samples, powder high temperature X-ray diffraction measurements (HT-XRD) were also performed, under a vacuum of 10-5 mbar or an argon atmosphere. It was found that the lattice parameters of (Bi), (Sn) and (Zn) don't change with the composition, at room temperature, as expected since all samples belong to the three phase region. …”

Review of Comprehensive Measurements of Speciated NOy and its Chemistry: Need for Quantifying the Role of Heterogeneous Processes of HNO3 and HONO by Hajime Akimoto, Hiroshi Tanimoto

    Published 2020-11-01
“…Abstract To improve the credibility of chemistry schemes employed in chemical transport models (CTMs) aiming at predicting ozone mixing ratios in urban, rural, and regional scales, validation of models not only by observational data of O3 and NOx but also by individual species of reactive nitrogen NOy is necessary because the formation and dissipation of O3 in the atmosphere occur via reactions accompanying the transformation of NOx and NOy. …”

Spatial-Temporal Evolution Characteristics of NDVI in Middle and Lower Reaches of Lancang River Basin by YUAN Zeshen, CHEN Chenchen, LI Bogen, WANG Yuchun

    Published 2022-01-01
“…Vegetation coverage plays an important role in soil and water conservation, atmosphere regulation, and maintenance of ecosystem stability, which influences regional hydrological and water-sediment processes and has important implications for hydropower development in the basin. This paper analyzes the spatial and temporal evolution mechanisms of the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) in the study area from 1998 to 2018 using the Mann-Kendall model coupled with Sen's slope estimator, with the middle and lower reaches of the Lancang River Basin as the study area. The results reveal that ① the annual average NDVI in the study area from 1998 to 2018 is 0.81,and NDVI increases year by year from north to south on the whole;② NDVI in the study area shows an insignificant increasing trend from 1998 to 2018,with a growth rate of 5.8 × 10-3/a;③ the sudden spatial changes in NDVI all occur in degraded areas.Against the background of increasing global warming and the frequent occurrence of extreme weather in the past two decades, the results of this study provide a scientific basis for future biodiversity conservation and ecological and environmental protection in the Lancang River Basin.…”

Benchmarking of Multispectral Pansharpening: Reproducibility, Assessment, and Meta-Analysis by Luciano Alparone, Andrea Garzelli

    Published 2024-12-01
“…As a major outcome of this study, an improved version of the additive wavelet luminance proportional (AWLP) pansharpening algorithm offers all of the favorable characteristics of an ideal benchmark, namely, performance, speed, absence of adjustable running parameters, reproducibility of results with varying datasets and landscapes, and automatic correction of the path radiance term introduced by the atmosphere. The proposed benchmarking protocol employs the haze-corrected AWLP-H and exploits meta-analysis for cross-comparisons among different experiments. …”
