Frequency hopping modulation recognition based on time-frequency energy spectrum texture feature by Hongguang LI, Ying GUO, Ping SUI, Zisen QI

    Published 2019-10-01
“…For frequency hopping modulation identification,a novel method based on time-frequency energy spectrum texture feature was proposed.Firstly, the time-frequency diagram of the frequency hopping signal was obtained by smoothed pseudo Wigner-Ville distribution, and the background noise of the time-frequency diagram was removed by two-dimensional Wiener filtering to improve the resolution of the time-frequency diagram under low SNR conditions. Then, the connected-domain detection algorithm was used to extract the time-frequency energy spectrum of each hop signal and convert it into a time-frequency gray-scale image. The histogram statistical features and the gray-scale co-occurrence matrix feature were combined to form a 22-dimensional eigenvector. Finally, the feature set was trained, classified and identified by optimized support vector machine classifier.Simulation experiments show that the multi-dimensional feature vector extracted by the algorithm has strong representation ability and avoids the misjudgment caused by the similarity of single features. The average recognition accuracy of the six modulation methods of frequency hopping signals BPSK,QPSK,SDPSK,QASK,64QAM and GMSK is 91.4% under the condition of -4 dB SNR.…”

Energy consumption optimization scheme in UAV-assisted MEC system based on optimal SIC order by Wei JI, Xuxin YANG, Fei LI, Ting LI, Yan LIANG, Yunchao SONG

    Published 2024-02-01
“…In uplink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted mobile edge computing (MEC) system, the successive interference cancellation (SIC) order of NOMA became a bottleneck limiting the transmission performance of task offload in uplink link.To reduce the energy consumption of the system, the SIC order was discussed and the optimal SIC order based on channel gain and task delay constraint was proposed. The optimization problem of minimizing the system energy consumption was proposed based on the optimal SIC order while satisfying the constraints of the given task delay of the device, the maximum transmit power constraint of the device, and the UAV trajectory.Since the problem was a complex non-convex problem, an alternating optimization method was adopted to solve the optimization problem to achieve power allocation and UAV trajectory optimization.A low-complexity algorithm based on matching theory was proposed to obtain the optimal device grouping in different time slots.Simulation results show that the optimal SIC order can realize smaller system energy consumption under the same task delay constraint compared with other SIC order, the proposed low-complexity device grouping algorithm can obtain the optimal device grouping.…”

Efficient resource allocation with context-awareness for parked car road side unit-based Internet of vehicles by Peng QIN, Haoting HE, Xiongwen ZHAO, Yang FU, Yu ZHANG, Miao WANG, Shuo WANG, Xue WU

    Published 2022-07-01
“…In order to reduce the number of road side unit (RSU) and meet the needs of mobile vehicle users for processing latency-sensitive and computation-intensive tasks, a context-aware resource allocation algorithm was proposed based on parked cars.Road side parked vehicles were selected to serve the vehicle users instead of RSU using parking time as a factor for determining whether a parked vehicle could become a parked car roadside unit (PCRSU).In order to further reduce the system response time, a mechanism was designed considering content caching and distribution. In respect to user content caching, PCRSU made personalized content recommendation for vehicle users with awareness by using two elements of user historical search data and point of interest (PoI) area type.In respect to content distribution, PCRSU allocated bandwidth efficiently by sensing the data transmission needs of vehicle users.Extensive experiments show that compared with the existing benchmark methods, the proposed algorithm can select PCRSU more reasonably, effectively reduce the demand response delay, improve the stability of the network while ensuring network coverage, and provide more accurate service content for vehicle users.…”

Topology prediction for opportunistic network based on spatiotemporal convolution by Jian SHU, Jiawei SHI, Linlan LIU, Al-Kali Manar

    Published 2023-03-01
“…The high dynamics of opportunistic network topology leads to the challenges of topology prediction. The existing research mainly focuses on the long-term spatiotemporal dependence of networks, ignoring the short-term spatiotemporal features.A topology prediction method for opportunistic network based on dynamic time warping algorithm and spatiotemporal convolution (DTW-STC) was proposed, which integrated long-short term spatiotemporal dependence in opportunistic network. The time slot was determined based on dynamic time warping algorithm, so that the opportunistic network was sliced into snapshots which topology was presented by link state matrix.Temporal convolution was employed to extract short-term temporal features. The spatiotemporal graph, representing the short-term spatiotemporal relationship, was constructed by temporal features and network changes. The short-term spatiotemporal features were captured by graph convolution. After stacks of spatiotemporal convolution, the long-short term spatiotemporal features of network were achieved.Based on the autoencoder structure, vector space transformation was realized, so that the future network topology was predicted. The results on three real opportunistic network datasets, ITC, MIT, and Asturias-er, show that the proposed DTW-STC has better prediction performance than ones of other baseline methods.…”
