MLAR:large-scale network alias resolution for IP geolocation
Published 2020-08-01“…In order to accurately and efficiently perform alias resolution on interface IP and support IP geolocation,a large-scale network alias resolution algorithm (MLAR) was proposed.Based on the statistical differences in delays,paths,Whois,etc.between alias IP and non-alias IP,before resolution,filtering rules were designed to exclude a large number of IPs that can not be aliases and improve efficiency of resolution,alias resolution was transformed into classification,and four novel features such as delay similarity,path similarity,etc.were constructed for the classification of possible alias IP and non-alias IP after filtering.Experiments based on millions of samples from CAIDA show that compared with RadarGun,MIDAR,and TreeNET,the accuracy is improved by 15.8%,4.8%,5.7%,the time consumption can be reduced by up to 77.8%,65.3%,and 55.2%,when the proposed algorithm is applied to IP geolocation,the failure rates of the three typical geolocation methods such as SLG,LENCR,and PoPG are reduced by about 65.5%,64.1%,and 58.1%.…”

Temporal dependent rate-distortion optimization based on distortion backward propagation
Published 2022-12-01“…Rate-distortion optimization (RDO) is a crucial technique in block based hybrid video encoders.However, the widely used independent RDO is far from obtaining optimal coding performance.To improve the rate-distortion (R-D) performance of high efficiency video coding (HEVC), a temporal dependent RDO algorithm was proposed.Firstly, the formula to calculate temporal distortion propagation factor was derived by using an exponential R-D function.Then, the coding distortion and motion compensation predicted error were obtained by pre-encoding, and the temporal distortion propagation factor was estimated by using distortion backward propagation.Finally, the Lagrange multiplier and quantization parameter of coding tree unit were adaptively adjusted to optimize bit resources allocation.Experimental results show that compared with the original RDO method in HEVC under the low-delay configuration, the proposed algorithm achieves an average 4.4% bit rate reduction for all test sequences, and up to 13.0% bit rate reduction for test sequence BasketballDrill, at the same reconstructed video quality.…”

Research on Monitoring method of Urban Road Waterlogging Depth Based on Deep Learning and Ellipse Detection
Published 2023-01-01“…In order to solve the problem that the traditional urban waterlogging monitoring methods consume a lot of manpower and material resources and also have a high cost,which cannot meet the needs of comprehensive and rapid monitoring of urban flood,a method of monitoring the depth of urban road waterlogging using deep learning and ellipse detection algorithm is applied,which constructs a computation model of the urban road waterlogging depth by detecting and segmenting the wheels of different types of vehicles on the images through a deep learning model and using ellipse detection algorithm to extract the geometric characteristic parameters of submerged wheels.Verified by typical video monitoring sites in Dongying City,The results show that the average positioning precision and segmentation precision of the model on the dataset can reach over 94%;the model has a good monitoring effect on waterlogging depth for vehicles on both the directly lateral side and the oblique lateral side in actual waterlogging monitoring;furthermore,the results at the near point are better than that at the far point,and the results for vehicles on the directly lateral side are better than the oblique lateral side.The results can lay the foundation for further research,and provide technical support for urban waterlogging monitoring and flood emergency management.…”

Data augmentation scheme for federated learning with non-IID data
Published 2023-01-01“…To solve the problem that the model accuracy remains low when the data are not independent and identically distributed (non-IID) across different clients in federated learning, a privacy-preserving data augmentation scheme was proposed.Firstly, a data augmentation framework for federated learning scenarios was designed.All clients generated synthetic samples locally and shared them with each other, which eased the problem of client drift caused by the difference of clients’ data distributions.Secondly, based on generative adversarial network and differential privacy, a private sample generation algorithm was proposed.It helped clients to generate informative samples while preserving the privacy of clients’ local data.Finally, a differentially private label selection algorithm was proposed to ensure the labels of synthetic samples will not leak information.Simulation results demonstrate that under multiple non-IID data partition strategies, the proposed scheme can consistently improve the model accuracy and make the model converge faster.Compared with the benchmark approaches, the proposed scheme can achieve at least 25% accuracy improvement when each client has only one class of samples.…”

Statistics release and privacy protection method of location big data based on deep learning
Published 2022-01-01“…Aiming at the problems of the unreasonable structure and the low efficiency of the traditional statistical partition and publishing of location big data, a deep learning-based statistical partition structure prediction method and a differential publishing method were proposed to enhance the efficacy of the partition algorithm and improve the availability of the published location big data.Firstly, the two-dimensional space was intelligently partitioned and merged from the bottom to the top to construct a reasonable partition structure.Subsequently, the partition structure matrices were organized as a three-dimensional spatio-temporal sequence, and the spatio-temporal characteristics were extracted via the deep learning model in a bid to realize the prediction of the partition structure.Finally, the differential privacy budget allocation and Laplace noise addition were implemented on the prediction partition structure to realize the privacy protection of the statistical partition and publishing of location big data.Experimental comparison of the real location big data sets proves the advantages of the proposed method in improving the querying accuracy of the published location big data and the execution efficiency of the publishing algorithm.…”
