Research on the Hierarchical Spatial Structure of the Urban Agglomeration of the Yellow River Ji-Shaped Bend by Fang Wang, Mengyao Guo, Xi Guo, Fangqu Niu

    Published 2021-01-01
“…The following conclusions can be drawn. (1) The cities with the strongest regional comprehensive power are Ordos, Taiyuan, Hohhot, Yinchuan, and Yulin, which cause the UAYB to present a significant “center-periphery” spatial pattern. (2) The biggest population flows mostly occur between cities in the same province, while interprovincial population flows mainly exist between cities with the strongest comprehensive power. (3) The hierarchical spatial structure of the UAYB forms a multitree structure, with Ordos as the core. (4) The attractiveness of the UAYB is very weak, being only slightly attractive to individual surrounding provinces, while the population outflow index to economically developed areas is high. …”

Multivariate Analysis of Confined Groundwater Hydrochemistry of a Long-Exploited Sedimentary Basin in Northwest China by Xuedi Zhang, Hui Qian, Hao Wu, Jie Chen, Liang Qiao

    Published 2016-01-01
“…., deep groundwater) in the Yinchuan region, northwest China. Accordingly, the characteristics of confined water were analyzed and collected from 33 sampling wells in spring of 2011, to determine the factors that influenced the composition and evolution of confined water, using principal component analysis (PCA), correlation analysis, groundwater evolution, and mineral dissolution/precipitation analysis. …”

Temporal and Spatial Effect of Surrounding Rock and Supporting Construction of a Large Soil Tunnel by Wanjun Ye, Yuntao Wu, Ming Chen, Chong Gao

    Published 2021-01-01
“…Based on the Zaosheng No. 3 tunnel of the Yinchuan-Xi’an high-speed railway, the surrounding rock pressure, contact pressure of the primary support, and secondary lining and internal force of the secondary lining concrete are systematically tested using a vibrating wire sensor, and the correlation between the advance construction distance and the surrounding rock release rate is studied with finite element software. …”

Investigating the Relationship between Traffic Violations and Crashes at Signalized Intersections: An Empirical Study in China by Ze-Hao Jiang, Xiao-Guang Yang, Tuo Sun, Tao Wang, Zheng Yang

    Published 2021-01-01
“…In order to investigate the relationship between traffic violations and traffic crashes, this research targets signalized intersections in two Chinese cities: Yinchuan and Suqian. Thirty-one intersections are selected as the research sites, and additionally, the traffic volume, traffic violation, and traffic crash data of each intersection are collected for one year. …”

The Formation and Modification of the Arcuate Tectonic Belt in the Northeastern Tibetan Plateau: Insight from Three-Dimensional Finite Element Numerical Simulation by Yilin Zhao, Wei Shi, Yujun Sun, Guiting Hou

    Published 2025-01-01
“…The findings indicate that the arcuate tectonic belt takes shape when the weakly strengthened Tibetan Plateau is impelled into the Yinchuan Basin after being obstructed by the robust Alax and Ordos blocks during lateral expansion. …”
