Survey of identity resolution system in industrial Internet of things by Yuzheng REN, Renchao XIE, Shiqin ZENG, Haoran ZHAO, Jiayi YU, Ru HUO, Tao HUANG, Yunjie LIU

    Published 2019-11-01
“…With the development of the internet of things (IoT),5G and industrial technology, industrial IoT has become a new research field.Due to the specific requirements of delay, security and stability in industrial production, the traditional DNS has limitations to meet the needs of industrial IoT because of its single identity object, rigid resolution results, and weak security. In this context, how to provide efficient, flexible and secure resolution services for universal objects has become a hot area worldwide.Firstly,we discussed the design principles and key supporting technologies of the identity resolution system in industrial IoT.Then summarized and compared the existing identity resolution systems in detail.Next, the new identity resolution schemes in academic research were introduced. Finally, the core problems and the future research trend in this field were discussed.…”

New approach against Sybil attack in wireless sensor networks by FENG Tao1, MA Jian-feng2

    Published 2008-01-01
“…A particularly harmful attack against many sensor network applications is known as the Sybil attack.A novel approach which is sensor node identity witness information validation for random secret information predistribution to defend against the Sybil attack was proposed, and their comprehensive performance was analyzed. In random secret in-formation predistribution, new secret information assignment schemes were proposed and assign a random set of key-related information to each sensor node based on one-way accumulators. In the common keys set-up phase,node-to-node identity witness authentication and key exchange protocols(IDW-AKE)which are provably secure against the active adversaries in universally composable model was proposed.Using IDW-AKE protocols, each node can com-pute the unique common keys it shares with its neighbors.…”

Modeling and verifying based on timed automata of Internet of things gateway security system by Guoqing WANG, Lei ZHUANG, Ruimin WANG, Yu SONG, Kunli ZHANG

    Published 2018-03-01
“…The Internet of things (IoT) is a multiple heterogeneous network, and its perception layer is often faced with various security threats. As the bridge between the perception layer and the network layer, the IoT gateway should have the security management function to prevent the security issue from spreading to the upper layer.According to the current security deficiencies in IoT gateway,a universal IoT gateway security system was proposed based on the IoT gateway middleware technology.Various security protocols or algorithms can be embedded in IoT gateway security system, and the modeling and analysis can help the design and implementation of IoT gateway. The formal modeling and verification of the IoT gateway security system was performed by timed automata. The results show that the IoT gateway security system satisfies the security properties of confidentiality, availability, authenticity, robustness, integrity and freshness.…”

Study on the Lubrication of the Precision Ball Screw Mechanism by Zhang Zuoying, Zhang Lei, Jiang Hongkui

    Published 2015-01-01
“…The lubrication effects of two types of universal lubrication methods for ball screw mechanism are firstly discussed. For lubrication in oil,the variation situation of the thinnest lubricating oil film thickness vary with the ball screw rotation is figured out according to the Hamrock-Dowson expression and the fact that the ball screw always runs on conditions of boundary lubrication is identified by the calculation of the film thickness ratio. For lubrication in grease, the fluctuation curve of the ball speed responds to the ball screw rotation is figured out through the analysis of their mutual motion and geometric relationship. The curve demonstrates that using the grease to lubricate the ball screw mechanism with high rotation rate will cause higher temperature rise.To overcome the above two shortages,a dynamic grease coating lubrication method is proposed.Lastly,a friction torque stabilization test and a temperature rise test are conducted to prove the superiority of the proposed method.…”

Scalable geometric routing scheme based on location-independent names by Yanbin SUN, Yu ZHANG, Hongli ZHANG, Binxing FANG

    Published 2016-01-01
“…Name-based routing has become one of the hot topics in future network. However, due to the sustained growth of the size of nodes and information, the scalability issue is becoming one of the bottlenecks of name-based routing. As a new type of scalable routing, geometric routing provides both scalable routing tables and low routing paths, but it is difficult to support name-based routing.A universal scalable geometric routing scheme based on location-independent names(GRIN)was proposed.GRIN implemented a hybrid geometric routing(HGR)combining greedy routing with source routing, introduced a distributed name resolution using 2-level sloppy groups. Then the state and the path stretch upper bound of GRIN were analyzed. The simulation results show that GRIN guarantees scalability, low stretch and reliability. It outperformanced other similar routing schemes.…”
