Malware recognition approach based on self‐similarity and an improved clustering algorithm
Published 2022-10-01“…Furthermore, we propose the use of self‐similarity and our improved clustering algorithm to recognise buffer overflow vulnerabilities for malware in network traffic. This motivates us to design and implement a recognition approach for buffer overflow vulnerabilities based on self‐similarity and our improved clustering algorithm, called Reliable Self‐Similarity with Improved K‐means Clustering (RSS‐IKClustering). …”

Modification of Nafion Membranes by IL-Cation Exchange: Chemical Surface, Electrical and Interfacial Study
Published 2012-01-01“…A study of time evolution of the impedance curves measured in the system “IL aqueous solution/Nafion-112 membrane/IL aqueous solution” was also performed. This study allows us monitoring the electrical changes associated to the IL-cation incorporation in both the membrane and the membrane/IL solution interface, and it provides supplementary information on the characteristic of the Nafion/DTA+ hybrid material. …”

Climate change-driven shifts in the global distribution of tomato and potato crops and their associated bacterial pathogens
Published 2025-01-01“…This study used four species distribution models (SDMs) to predict current and future habitat suitability for both tomato and potato crops, as well as their associated pathogens, under two shared socioeconomic pathways (SSP4.5 and SSP8.5) and four global circulation models (GCMs).ResultsThe models projected significant poleward shifts in suitable habitats for tomatoes and potatoes, with notable expansions in higher-latitude regions such as Canada, northern Europe, and Russia, and contractions in current major production zones such as the United States (US), Brazil, parts of Africa, and China. For Clavibacter michiganensis, the overlap with tomatoes was substantial, whereas the overlap between potatoes and Ralstonia solanacearum was comparatively smaller.DiscussionOur hypothesis was partially supported by the results. …”

Features of practical application of electric power system’s stability estimation methods
Published 2020-12-01“…And also to estimate the effectiveness of these methods in the performance of the task concerned with selecting best settings of automatic excitation regulators of synchronous generators. This analysis led us to the conclusions, in particular, about possibility to apply the root locus methods in estimating stability of electrical power systems, and also about genericity of the matrix method with the use of QR-algorithm, which is widely used in practice of calculating stability…”
