Routing algorithm for MPLS traffic engineering in satellite network by XIAO Fu1, SUN Li-juan1, YE Xiao-guo1, WANG Ru-chuan1

    Published 2011-01-01
“…With regard to long transmission delay and dynamic topology characters in satellite network,a novel routing algorithm was proposed in multi-protocol label switching satellite network. The algorithm uses the prior knowledge of source-destination pairs, and link propagation delay is also considered.Based on time-varying topology snapshot of satellite network, initial link weight is defined as function of transmission delay and residual bandwidth. Both current request and future requests are in account when calculate critical degree. Thus traffic engineering is realized by link weight dynamic adjustment and critical links extension loaded, which guarantee resource utilized better.Simulation results demonstrate the algorithm performs better in terms of request reject ratio, total available flow, average hop and transmission delay of least interference paths.…”

Research on a routing task planning algorithm for LEO remote sensing constellation by Xing QI, Zhen LIU, Jiahui LIANG, Qiming ZHAO, Chang LIU

    Published 2022-04-01
“…In order to solve the problem of poor timeliness of data transmission in remote sensing constellation, the inter-satellite link network and a routing task planning algorithm suitable for inter-satellite network with intermittent burst characteristics was proposed.Driven by the results of remote sensing satellite imaging task planning, combined with the time-varying characteristics of satellite network topology, the algorithm improved the topology division method based on snapshot sequence to reduce the frequency of route switching and the cost of link switching. The routing between satellite and ground station was regarded as a part of the routing of LEO remote sensing constellation. While selecting the shortest routing path between satellite and the ground, the duration of satellite-ground link was maximized. The simulation results show that the algorithm can significantly improve the data transmission capability of the low-orbit remote sensing satellite constellation.…”

Unmanned aerial vehicle enabled communication technologies and applications for Internet of things by Yalin LIU, Hongning DAI, Qubeijian WANG

    Published 2019-12-01
“…The Internet of things (IoT) is designed to provide the wide coverage and the massive connectivity service for“things” node, and the collected “things” data can provide support for the intelligent decision-making at the application layer. However, due to the fixed deployment of the access point of the “things” node, the topology of the IoT network is not flexible, consequently making it difficult to dynamically cover the IoT node or regions with high mobility. In addition, the current IoT communication technology suffers from the remote blind area, which makes it impossible for a large number of “things” node to connect to establish the “network” in some geologically-complexed regions.UAV has high mobility, low cost and flexible deployment, which is suitable to solve the above issues.Studying the communication technology of UAV assisted IoT,help the IoT to extend the existing network coverage, enhance the flexibility of the IoT topology and provide more diverse IoT service.…”

Research on trust measure and management for open distributed systems based on dynamic grouping by Li-ming JIANG, Zhi-ming LIU, Kun ZHANG, Jian XU, Hong ZHANG

    Published 2015-01-01
“…A stability enhanced group-based trust model(denoted by SEGTM) for open distributed systems was presented to solve the problems of not sufficiently maintaining trust relation between peers due to the dynamic changes in trust network topology.First, the formation and dynamic management of peers' group were depicted in detail, including nodes gathered into the same group with similar interests, competition for group head and nodes within the group leave in active or passive ways. Then, the trust relation in proposed model was categorized into three kinds and subsequently each solution for these kinds was also put forward. So,the problems of decline in accuracy of computational trust degree between peers due to the difference of peers' interests and low probability of repeated transactions between them were addressed.Simulation results show that the model not only enhances the fairness and stability in response to dynamic changes in network topology, but also can effectively resist the attacks of malicious nodes.…”
