Time-sensitive network traffic scheduling method with joint routing planning
Published 2022-12-01“…To solve the problem of uncertain end-to-end transmission delay caused by the separation of time-sensitive traffic scheduling and routing in time-sensitive network, a multi-constrained traffic scheduling method with joint routing planning was proposed. The inter-flow conflict degree of time-sensitive traffic was introduced to flexibly allocated traffic routing. On that basis, a scheduling constraint model of time-aware shaping and joint conflict-free routing was established to strictly guarantee the time-sensitive traffic scheduling with bounded low latency in both spatial and temporal dimensions.Experimental results show that the proposed method has good delay performance in different topological scenarios, and effectively reduces the delay caused by congestion conflicts under different time-sensitive traffic scales while ensuring link load balancing.…”

Community detection algorithm based on local affinity propagation and user profile
Published 2015-02-01“…An algorithm based on local affinity propagation and a new similarity measure concerning user profile is proposed. On one hand,by loosening the exemplar constraint and requiring the messages propagate around a node's neighbors, the algorithm achieves lower time and space complexity without too much lost in clustering accuracy, which makes it adaptable to the mining of large-scale social networks. On the other hand,by designing a hybrid similarity measure based on the topological similarity and the profile similarity of the nodes, the algorithm can effectively tackle the situation of the social networks data without complete user relation information. The experimental results on the artificial datasets and the real-world datasets demonstrate that the algorithm not only has near-linear time complexity and linear space complexity, but also retains high detecting accuracy when handling incomplete networks.…”

Fermat point based connectivity restoration strategy in networks
Published 2019-10-01“…The connectivity restoration ensures the availability and reliability of a network. Both of geometrical features and topological structures should be taken into consideration at the same time, without which previous works can hardly restore the connectivity with the least number of relay nodes. The Fermat point, the triangulation and the minimum spanning tree are integrated with the design of an efficient restoration strategy. The theoretical analysis indicate that the approximation ratio of the proposed strategy is <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mfrac> <mrow> <mn>3</mn><msqrt> <mn>3</mn> </msqrt> </mrow> <mrow> <mn>4</mn><mo>−</mo><msqrt> <mn>3</mn> </msqrt> </mrow> </mfrac></math></inline-formula>and the complexity of which is O(n log n).Simulation results show that the proposed strategy outperforms other strategies in the number of relay nodes required.…”
