    “…Bài viết nghiên cứu về quan hệ kinh tế Việt-Nga giai đoạn 2001-2018 trên các lĩnh vực: Thương mại, đầu tư, hợp tác năng lượng dầu khí và rút ra những đặc điểm như sau: (i) Quan hệ kinh tế Việt-Nga được kết nối từ quá khứ đến hiện tại, được thúc đẩy bởi quan hệ chính trị - ngoại giao tốt đẹp; (ii) Quan hệ kinh tế Việt-Nga diễn ra giữa hai nền kinh tế thị trường chuyển đổi nhưng có sự chênh lệch rất lớn về quy mô, trình độ phát triển và sự khác biệt các giá trị, chiến lược; (iii) Đặc điểm nổi bật của quan hệ kinh tế song phương Việt-Nga đã có sự thay đổi tổng thể, chuyển từ nguyên tắc ý thức hệ sang nguyên tắc tin cậy lẫn nhau và bình đẳng cùng có lợi; (iv) Quan hệ kinh tế Việt-Nga mặc dù đã đạt được kết quả tích cực, xong chưa tương xứng với tiềm năng, lợi thế của mỗi nước, với quan hệ hữu nghị truyền thống và đối tác chiến lược toàn diện, hiệu quả hợp tác kinh tế chưa đạt tầm với mục tiêu chính trị đề ra.…”
