Differences and Similarities: Variability and Fractality in CDST
Published 2023-01-01“… Variability and fractality, two key concepts in Complex Dynamic Systems Theory (CDST)—the former concerning changes and variations, and the latter concerning recursiveness and self-similarities—may seem contradictory at first glance. …”

The nature of market-preserving government
Published 2024-01-01“…Under certain conditions, the parties are better off completely disarming themselves, paving the road for a modern society with equal rights for all citizens and a government monopoly on violence. The war-economic theory of political development sheds light on historical experiences and contemporary policy issues.…”

Existence of Homoclinic Orbits for a Class of Asymptotically p-Linear Difference Systems with p-Laplacian
Published 2011-01-01“…By applying a variant version of Mountain Pass Theorem in critical point theory, we prove the existence of homoclinic solutions for the following asymptotically p-linear difference system with p-Laplacian Δ(|Δu(n-1)|p-2Δu(n-1))+∇[-K(n,u(n))+W(n,u(n))]=0, where p∈(1,+∞), n∈ℤ, u∈ℝN, K,W:ℤ×ℝN→ℝ are not periodic in n, and W is asymptotically p-linear at infinity.…”

REJECTION OF DOGMA
Published 1998-01-01“…Later on, his ability to question everything what was officially accepted in the Marxist theory has formed a gighly original school of the University philosophers, which attracted strong enough criticism of official institutions, but made a great impact on academic youth. …”

Micromagnetic Simulation of Strain-Assisted Current-Induced Magnetization Switching
Published 2016-01-01“…We investigated the effect of substrate misfit strain on the current-induced magnetization switching in magnetic tunnel junctions by combining micromagnetic simulation with phase-field microelasticity theory. Our results indicate that the positive substrate misfit strain can decrease the critical current density of magnetization switching by pushing the magnetization from out-of-plane to in-plane directions, while the negative strain pushes the magnetization back to the out-of-plane directions. …”

ACADEMIC MUSIC MINISTRY TRAINING FROM A PRACTICAL-THEOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE
Published 2021-06-01“…Approaching the training from a theological perspective requires an intentional integration of theory into ministry and music practice. Borrowing from interpretative methods of practical theology, recent developments of music ministry and training are described and analysed. …”

On the Limit Cycles for a Class of Perturbed Fifth-Order Autonomous Differential Equations
Published 2021-01-01“…We study the limit cycles of the fifth-order differential equation x⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅−ex⃜−dx⃛−cx¨−bx˙−ax=εFx,x˙,x¨,x⋯,x⃜ with a=λμδ,b=−λμ+λδ+μδ,c=λ+μ+δ+λμδ,d=−1+λμ+λδ+μδ,e=λ+μ+δ, where ε is a small enough real parameter, λ,μ, and δ are real parameters, and F∈C2 is a nonlinear function. Using the averaging theory of first order, we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of limit cycles of this equation.…”
