Notion of Complex Spherical Fuzzy Graph with Application
Published 2022-01-01“…CSFS handles vagueness more explicitly, and its range is expanded from the real subset to the complex with unit disc. The major goal of this research is to present the foundation of a complex spherical fuzzy graph (CSFG) due to the limitation of the complex neutral membership function in a complex Pythagorean fuzzy graph (CPFG). …”

Temporal dependent rate-distortion optimization based on distortion backward propagation
Published 2022-12-01“…Rate-distortion optimization (RDO) is a crucial technique in block based hybrid video encoders. However, the widely used independent RDO is far from obtaining optimal coding performance. To improve the rate-distortion (R-D) performance of high efficiency video coding (HEVC), a temporal dependent RDO algorithm was proposed.Firstly, the formula to calculate temporal distortion propagation factor was derived by using an exponential R-D function. Then, the coding distortion and motion compensation predicted error were obtained by pre-encoding, and the temporal distortion propagation factor was estimated by using distortion backward propagation. Finally, the Lagrange multiplier and quantization parameter of coding tree unit were adaptively adjusted to optimize bit resources allocation.Experimental results show that compared with the original RDO method in HEVC under the low-delay configuration, the proposed algorithm achieves an average 4.4% bit rate reduction for all test sequences, and up to 13.0% bit rate reduction for test sequence BasketballDrill, at the same reconstructed video quality.…”

A Numerical Study on the Progressive Failure of 3D Four-Directional Braided Composites
Published 2013-01-01“…The complexity of the microstructure makes the strength prediction and failure analysis of 3D braided composites difficult. A new unit cell geometrical model, taken as the representative volume element (RVE), is proposed to describe the yarn configuration of 3D braided composites produced by the four-step 1 × 1 method. …”

Research on test strategy for randomness based on deep learning
Published 2023-06-01“…In order to achieve better test performance, researches on the randomness test strategies based on deep learning were conducted, including the batch average strategy proposed by EUROCRYPT 2021 and the selection strategy for data unit size.By introducing the randomness statistical test model based on deep learning methods, the statistical distribution and test power expression of two test strategies were theoretically derived, and it was pointed out that: (i) the batch average strategy could amplify the prediction accuracy of the model, but it was prone to an increase in the probability of the second type of error in statistics, instead reducing the statistical test power; (ii) the smaller data units of the deep model generally obtained the more powerful statistical tests.Based on the above understanding, a new bit-level deep learning model was proposed for randomness statistical tests, which gained the advantage of prediction with 80 times fewer parameters and 50% samples, compared with the previous work on linear congruent generator (LCG) algorithm, and achieved significant prediction advantages with 10~20 times fewer parameters by extending the model to apply to 5~7 rounds of Speck, compared with the model proposed by Gohr.…”

Application of HEC-HMS Model in Flood Simulation of Qingshan River Basin
Published 2021-01-01“…It is more and more important to realize the fast simulation of flood process in the early warning of mountain flood disaster in small and medium river basins. This paper builds a distributed hydrological model for Qingshan River Basin by combining HEC-HMS model with GIS technology, extracts the characteristics of river system and conducts gridding on small basin based on DEM data, calculates the surface runoff by initial and constant loss method and Snyder unit hydrograph method, simulates the process of base flow recession through nonlinear boussinesq method, conducts the channel routing by Muskingum method, calibrates the parameters with the past 5 measured flood data,as well as verifies the prediction results by 13 floods. The simulation results show that during the verification period, the errors of peak discharge are all within 20%,the time difference for peaks is less than 3 h,the certainty coefficient is less than 0.7 for only 2 floods, and above 0.7 for others. The results show that with high accuracy and stability, the HEC-HMS model for flood simulation in this river basin conforms to the requirements of the flood forecast, which is of great application value for the exploration of small basin flood simulation and analysis.…”
