Radiation-induced rescue effect on human breast carcinoma cells is regulated by macrophages
Published 2025-03-01“…Using bystander cells co-cultured with mock-irradiated cells as a control, we demonstrated, for the first time, two types of RIRE. Conditioned medium from naïve by stander cells, i.e., cells not exposed to irradiated cells, could mitigate UV-induced DNA damages in human breast carcinoma MCF7 cells, as judged by phospho-H2AX and 53BP1 immunostaining. …”

Functional activity of blood eosinophils in patients with Opisthorchis felineus invasion
Published 2024-01-01“…An increase in the content of eosinophils in the blood in patients with opisthorchiasis was associated with an increase in the frequency of complaints of pain in the right hypochondrium, pruritus, skin rashes, an increase in the proportion of leukopenia and neutropenia, an increase in the level of gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase in the blood, and an increase in the frequency of ultrasound signs of cholecystitis. At the same time, a pronounced increase in the functional activity of blood eosinophils, determined by the chemiluminescent method, was observed in patients with O. felineus invasion.Conclusions. …”

In-vivo high-resolution χ-separation at 7T
Published 2025-03-01“…However, applying χ-separation at 7T presents difficulties due to the requirement of an R2 map, coupled with issues such as high specific absorption rate (SAR), large B1 transmit field inhomogeneities, and prolonged scan time. To address these challenges, we developed a novel deep neural network, R2PRIMEnet7T, designed to convert a 7T R2* map into a 3T R2′ map. …”
