The identity of the offender as an element of forensic characteristics of premeditated murder of a hostage or a kidnapped person
Published 2021-09-01“…Based on a comprehensive comparative study, the following typology of the identity of the offender who committed the premeditated murder of a hostage or kidnapped person is proposed: 1) selfish persons; 2) pathologically rigid persons; 3) situational persons. At the same time, their content is revealed. It is noted that in practice, knowledge about the identity of the offender who committed the premeditated murder of a hostage or kidnapped person is important and necessary, especially at the stage of prevention and prevention of juvenile delinquency, especially among those who have previously been prosecuted.…”

Effects of the <i>Blp1</i> locus, which controls melanin accumulation in the barley ear, on the size and weight of seeds
Published 2021-07-01“…Effects of barely ear pigmentation and of the gene controlling it on yield-related parameters of seeds were studied here for the first time. The observed negative impact of the Blp1 locus on seed weight and size may be mediated by an interfering chloroplast activity and/or accumulation of assimilates via melanogenesis. …”

RETRACTED ARTICLE: Emodin enhances osteogenesis and inhibits adipogenesis
Published 2014-02-01“…In vitro, we analyze the effect of emodin—at concentrations between 0.1 μM and 10 μM-on the processes of inducing osteogenesis and inhibiting adipogenesis in BMSCs by ALP, Oil red O staining, real time RT-PCR and western blot. Results As our experiment shows that emodin could increase the number of osteoblast, BMD (bone mineral density), BV/TV (trabecular bone volume fraction), Tb.N (trabecular number) and Conn.D (connectivity density) of OVX (ovariectomized) mice and decrease the bone marrow fat tissue and adipocytes. …”

Effect of Jiangu Granule on miR-141 and Osteogenic Gene Dlx5/Msx2/Runx2 in Ovariectomized Mice
Published 2018-12-01“…Fat around ovary of the sham operation group was removed, but not ovary, bilateral ovaries of the saline group and Jiangu granule group were removed surgically, and administrate respectively by normal saline and Jiangu granule. After eight weeks of intervention, the tibial morphology was observed by micro-CT, the expression of microRNA-141, Dlx5, Msx2 and Runx2 in bone tissue were detected by real-time PCR, protein contents of Dlx5, Msx2 and Runx2 in bone tissue were detected by Western blot. Results:Compared with the saline group, the number, width, length, shape and distribution of trabeculae in the Jiangu granule group recovered partially, and the density and connectivity of trabeculae increased, which could not be restored to the level of the sham operation group, The area of cortical bone increased, the bone marrow cavity decreased, and basically restored to the level of the sham operation group; BMC, BMD, BV/TV, BS/TV, Tb.N increased significantly; Tb.Sp, SMI reduced significantly;the relative amount of microRNA-141 and Msx2 in bone tissue decreased significantly;the relative contents of Runx2 and Dlx5 in bone tissue increased significantly, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion:Jiangu granule can effectively reduce the expression of miR-141, enhance the expression of key osteogenic factors such as Dlx5 and Runx2 by influencing BMP signaling pathway Dlx5/Msx2/Runx2 in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs), and promote osteogenic potential, so as to prevent and treat osteoporosis.…”
