The Plasticity of Brain Gray Matter and White Matter following Lower Limb Amputation
Published 2015-01-01“…Finally, the lower limb amputees also displayed significant FA reduction in the right inferior frontooccipital fasciculus, which is negatively correlated with the time since amputation. In conclusion, our findings indicate that the amputation of lower limb could induce changes in the cortical representation of the missing limb and the underlying WM connections.…”

Adipose-Derived Stem Cells Alleviate Radiation-Induced Muscular Fibrosis by Suppressing the Expression of TGF-β1
Published 2016-01-01“…Moreover, the expression of TGF-β1 was lower in the ASCs group compared to those of the PBS group at each time point determined by Western blot analysis. ASCs transplantation could alleviate irradiation fibrosis by suppressing the level of TGF-β1 in the irradiated skeletal muscle.…”

Antitumor immunostimulatory effect via cell-killing action of a novel extracorporeal blood circulating photodynamic therapy system using 5-aminolevulinic acid
Published 2025-01-01“…In low-irradiated cells, several types of cell death were observed, and cell surface calreticulin expression increased over time. A method for the intravenous administration of 5-ALA/PDT-treated cells along with extracorporeal blood circulation was then developed to target hematologic malignancies. …”

Effect of fractal fins on the heat storage performance of three-casing phase change accumulator
Published 2024-12-01“…The results show that the addition of fractal fins in the three-tube phase change accumulator increases the heat exchange area compared with the ordinary longitudinal straight fin structure, which is conducive to the development of natural convection and effectively shortens the time required for the complete melting of PCM. After comprehensive analysis, the root and branches of the Y-shaped fin accounts for 25% and 75% of the total length, respectively, and the branch angle is 60°, which is the best Y-shaped fin structure, the complete melting rate of PCM is significantly improved, and the overall heat storage performance is improved.Compared with the ordinary straight fin heat accumulator, the proposed Y-shaped fin has more uniform heating of the phase change material and faster heat storage rate. …”
