L’ascension de l’artiste dans The Mountain and the Valley (1952) d’Ernest Buckler
Published 2016-09-01“…The story is set in the small town of Entremont which, as its very name suggests, is surrounded by two mountains that isolate and confine the characters to a life of routine and deny them access to time and progress. The North and South Mountains do not merely enclose the characters in the seasonal life of the farmer, they frame the narrative of David Canaan that begins and concludes with the ascent of the South Mountain where he dies prematurely at the age of thirty. …”

Topical issues of stimulating the work of civil servants
Published 2021-09-01“…It is noted that the approach chosen by the official authorities to improve the effectiveness of incentives for civil servants is limited mainly to the revision of approaches to their remuneration. At the same time, such important elements of the mechanism of stimulating employment, such as guaranteed career growth, protection from administrative pressure and illegal disciplinary action, guaranteed application of incentives and rational organization of the work process, do not receive due attention and development. …”

Knowledge graph based entity selection framework for ad-hoc retrieval
Published 2025-01-01“…However, a lack of coherence between candidate entities can lead to query intent drift at retrieval time. To address this issue, we present an entity selection algorithm that utilizes a graph clustering framework to discover the semantics between entities and encompass the query with highly coherent entities accumulated from different resources, including knowledge bases, and pseudo-relevance feedback documents. …”

Analysis of the Impact of Different Forecasting Techniques on the Inventory Bullwhip Effect in Two Parallel Supply Chains with a Competition Effect
Published 2020-01-01“…The results show that the MMSE forecasting technique can reduce the lead-time demand forecast error to the largest extent, and the inventory bullwhip effect can obtain the lowest level using the MMSE method: retailer-1 can reduce the inventory bullwhip effect by using the MA technique, when the self-price sensitivity coefficient, the price autoregressive coefficient, and the probabilities associated with customers choosing retailer-1’s product are very low.…”

Simulation of Central Porosity and Hot Crack Formation in 14 t Flat Ingot by Mold Removal Controlled Cooling
Published 2025-02-01“…With the increase of cooling intensity, the central loose area decreased by 2.03%, the central loose length decreased by 68.53%, and concentrated in the riser area. At the same time, the thermal stress inside the ingot also increases, and the proposed cracking coefficient is used to predict the risk of cracking when the controlled cooling intensity reaches 1 200(W·m-2·K-1).…”

Two-party cooperative blind signature based on SM2
Published 2022-12-01“…SM2, issued by China in 2010, is a public key cryptography standard based on elliptic curves. It has been widely used in finance, social security and other fields thanks to its advantages of improved signature efficiency, decreased storage space and computing complexity than RSA.With the popularization and application of SM2, the issues of its key security and data privacy are of great concern. The single-key mode inhibits the potential application in multi-user settings, and the leakage of the key will threaten the security of the entire cryptosystem due to the centralization. The problem of secure storage and reasonable utilization of keys needs to be solved urgently. In addition, the SM2 digital signature algorithm cannot guarantee the message privacy.Aiming at the issues of key security and data privacy of the signature algorithm, many researchers have proposed the idea of cooperative signature and blind signature for SM2.However, there isn’t SM2 collaborative blind signature scheme proposed. Then a two-party cooperative blind signing protocol based on SM2 was proposed in this paper, which allowed two parties to sign except the user. The signing process did not require recovering the complete private key, while not revealing the information of the partial private key and secret number. The key was stored separately to improve the security of the key, while the blind signature protected the privacy of the message. In terms of security, the protocol satisfied unforgeability and unlinkability. The protocol was implemented using C to demonstrate the efficiency of each participant’s local operation. In the honest model, the time cost of each entity in the cooperative signature phase was similar as that of executing a lightweight SM2 blind signature.Overall, the proposed protocol has certain advantages in terms of function and efficiency.…”
