Effect of neutering timing in relation to puberty on health in the female dog-a scoping review.
Published 2024-01-01“…
Background
Effects of neutering on bitch health have been reported, and are suggested to relate to bitch age at the time of neutering for some diseases. However, variation between published studies in terms of study populations and methodologies makes comparison and consolidation of the evidence difficult.…”

Numerical Blow-Up Time for a Semilinear Parabolic Equation with Nonlinear Boundary Conditions
Published 2008-01-01“…We obtain some conditions under which the positive solution for semidiscretizations of the semilinear equation ut=uxx−a(x,t)f(u), 0<x<1, t∈(0,T), with boundary conditions ux(0,t)=0, ux(1,t)=b(t)g(u(1,t)), blows up in a finite time and estimate its semidiscrete blow-up time. …”

An analytical investigation of nonlinear time-fractional Schrödinger and coupled Schrödinger–KdV equations
Published 2025-03-01“…This study applies the Fractional Reduced Differential Transform Method (FRDTM) to solve two nonlinear fractional equations: the time-fractional Schrödinger equation (TFSE) and the coupled Schrödinger–KdV (Sch–KdV) equation, which are prominent in quantum mechanics, plasma physics, and wave propagation studies. …”

Near-infrared Spectroscopy-guided Flap Delay: For Flap Training and Timing of Pedicle Division
Published 2025-01-01“…We describe a simple, safe, and reproducible technique of using near-infrared spectroscopy to objectively guide the process of pedicle cross-clamping and aid in determining the optimal timing for flap division. This technique enables surgeons to adopt a more aggressive clamping schedule based on objective parameters, tailors the clamping schedule to the physiologically tolerable limits of each flap, and allows for early flap division. …”

Fixed timed artificial insemination in buffalo heifers with fresh and frozen-thawed semen in Argentina
Published 2023-11-01“…Artificial insemination (AI) is a better tool with a low application in this species due to the particularities of its physiology; an alternative is the application of fixed-time insemination (FTAI). The aim of the present work was to evaluate the effect of sperm source on pregnancy rates using an IATF protocol in heifers. …”

Global μ-Stability of Complex-Valued Neural Networks with Unbounded Time-Varying Delays
Published 2014-01-01“…The complex-valued neural networks with unbounded time-varying delays are considered. By constructing appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, and employing the free weighting matrix method, several delay-dependent criteria for checking the global μ-stability of the addressed complex-valued neural networks are established in linear matrix inequality (LMI), which can be checked numerically using the effective LMI toolbox in MATLAB. …”

Dynamic P2P trust model based on time-window feedback mechanism
Published 2010-01-01“…The trust models employed by the existing systems do not provide adequate support to cope with dishonest feedbacks, strategically altering behaviors of malicious peers efficiently and the incentive mechanism. The time-window based local trust model TW-Trust was presented to solve these problems. It considers the inherent connection among trust, reputation and incentive and the effect of time factor on the trust computation.Six trust parameters are introduced to compute trustworthiness of peers, named direct trust, history reputation, difference reputation, misusing reputation,simi-larity and incentive utility. These parameters are adjusted in time to reflect the dynamic of the trust environment using feedback control mechanism, thus, the trust evaluation has better adaptability to the dynamic of trust.Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the TW-Trust has advantages in countering strategic altering behavior and dishonest feedbacks of malicious peers and solving the sparseness issue in the computation of similarity. It is more effective in trust computation error and transaction failure rate than the previous models.…”
