Node clustered deployment of emergency Internet of things based on UAV with equipment access restriction
Published 2021-09-01“…Lack of ground base station in emergency Internet of things for public security application scenarios, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) as the air-based base station was adopted to solve the problem of node cluster deployment under the condition of limited access of emergency Internet of things ground terminal equipment.A clustering deployment method based on on-demand K-means (ODKM) was proposed.Firstly, base station selection and equipment clustering were carried out according to the equipment access ability of different UAV air-based base stations through two clustering steps.Secondly, by solving a relaxed non convex nonlinear optimization model, the UAV air-based base station deployment based on energy efficiency optimization was realized.The experimental results show that the proposed method can meet the constraints of UAV base station access ability, and has a good performance in balancing the transmission energy consumption of each cluster, and realizes the goal of communication energy saving when the ground terminal equipment needs to access.…”

An indoor positioning system based on distributed LTE network
Published 2018-06-01“…Indoor positioning technology has important applications in the business and security fields,but there are still existing problems with low positioning accuracy and high deployment costs.An indoor positioning system based on long term evolution ( LTE ) network was introduced.The system was defined on the Huawei distributed pico base station and was used to measure the reference signal strength (RSRP) or time of arrival (ToA) of mobile terminals to multiple access points.To overcome the uplink power control in LTE network,the absolute RSRP or ToA was converted to differential values.The system relied on widely deployed LTE networks to provide seamless location services to terminal devices in a wireless network connection state.It didn’t rely on third-party software or affect network performance.The experimental results show that the average positioning accuracy of Huawei indoor positioning system using time difference of arrival (TDoA) can reach 3~5 m in indoor scenarios such as shopping malls,showing good application potential.…”

Fingerprint localization algorithm based on linear spatial dependence of WLAN RSS
Published 2017-03-01“…Due to RSS time-varying and difference of signal receiving ability of different terminals,the performance of RSS-based technologies is usually instability.In order to solve such problem, a novel fingerprint localization algorithm based on linear spatial dependence of RSS was proposed.Multiple sets of RSS samples were collected at each reference point to form a feature matrix and an offline location fingerprint database was conducted.When the real-time RSS matrix was used to calculate the correlation between the real-time RSS matrix and the reference point of the fingerprint library, the k-reference points were obtained, and the final position of the user was calculated by the quadratic weighted centroid algorithm.In order to effectively reduce the influence of signal time-varying,the sampling and sorting process were carried out, and the number of sampling times increased as much as possible when constructing the offline fingerprint database,but the samples needed to be aggregated to fit the positioning correlation calculation.Experiment results show that the proposed algorithm can guarantee the high positioning accuracy and also achieve the better stability for different terminal.…”
