Bronchoalveolar Lavage Fluid IFN-γ+ Th17 Cells and Regulatory T Cells in Pulmonary Sarcoidosis
Published 2014-01-01“…In sarcoidosis, increased Th17 cell fractions have been reported in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, and elevated numbers of Th17 cells producing IFN-γ have been observed in peripheral blood. The balance between Th1, Th17, and FoxP3+ CD4+ T cell subsets in sarcoidosis remains unclear. …”

SDF-1α Facilitates Mesenchymal Stem Cells to Induce Regulatory B Cell Differentiation from Patients with Immune Thrombocytopenia
Published 2021-01-01“…The proportion of Bregs and the IL-10 secretion could be further promoted by the UC-MSCs treated with 0.1 μg/mL SDF-1α, which could also promote the miRNA-133 expression of UC-MSCs in an exosome-dependent manner; moreover, while the UC-MSCs were transfected with the miR-133 inhibitor, the proportion of induced Bregs decreased obviously when cocultured with peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of ITP. We conclude that UC-MSCs could effectively enhance the decreased proportion of Bregs from ITP; at appropriate concentrations, SDF-1α may promote the proliferating and survival ability of UC-MSCs and improve the production of Bregs induced by UC-MSCs through controlling miRNA-133 expression in the exosomes.…”

Synthesis, Characterization, and In Vivo Cytokinome Profile of IL-12-Loaded PLGA Nanospheres
Published 2022-01-01“…When IL-12-NS was administered in vivo to female BALB/c mice through retroorbital injection, IL-12-NS produced a favorable systemic cytokine profile for tumoricidal activity within the peripheral blood. Whereas IFN-γ nadir occurred at 72 hours, levels recovered quickly and displayed positive correlations postburst out to 25 days postinjection. …”

Results of experimental infection of vaccinated and non-vaccinated ducklings with duck hepatitis virus
Published 2022-12-01“…Pathomorphological studies carried out post experimental infection indicate that duck hepatitis virus induces pathogenic effect not only in birds’ digestive organs (the liver, in particular) but also causes degenerative changes in central and peripheral immune organs: in cloacal bursa, thymus and third eyelid gland, that may be manifested as deficiency of B- and T-cell immunity and requires further studies. …”

Pulse oximeter perfusion index as a new predictor of hypotension following subarachnoid block in lower segment Cesarean section: A prospective randomized study
Published 2025-02-01“…Background: Hypotension is a common adverse effect of spinal anesthesia, especially during pregnancy, due to the blockade of pre-ganglionic sympathetic fibers, resulting in reduced peripheral vascular resistance. This study explores the perfusion index (PI) as a potential predictor for hypotension during spinal anesthesia in lower segment Cesarean sections (LSCS). …”

Experimental Study on the Effect of Allogeneic Endothelial Progenitor Cells on Wound Healing in Diabetic Mice
Published 2021-01-01“…Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) are involved in the neovascularization in traumatic and ischemic sites, but EPCs are “detained” in bone marrow under diabetic conditions, which results in reduction of the number of EPCs and their biological activity in peripheral blood. Based on our previous study to mobilize autologous bone marrow EPCs by administering AMD3100+G-CSF to realize the optimal effect, our present study is aimed at exploring the effects of transplanting EPCs locally in a wound model of diabetic mice. …”
