Improved transmit beamforming design based on ADMM for low probability of intercept of FDA-MIMO radar by Pengcheng GONG, Yuntao WU

    Published 2022-04-01
“…Considering the low probability of intercept problem that the signal-dependent interference and the target were located in the same angle, an improved transmit beamforming design based on the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) was proposed for multiple-input multiple-output with frequency diverse array radar. The transmit energy was minimized at the target under constraints of the energy at each transmitter and signal clutter-plus-noise ratio requirement.Subsequently, a cyclic algorithm was developed to tackle the non-convex design problem.Firstly, the optimal receive filter was obtained by generalized Rayleigh quotient. And then the transmit beamforming was optimized by employing auxiliary variables and ADMM to solve quadratic programming problem with fractional inequality constraint. Moreover, both the convergence and computational complexity of the proposed algorithm were discussed.Simulation results show that, compared with the semi-denite programming method, the proposed method not only attains the given antenna power, but also achieves the better mainlobe focusing performance at the target.Furthermore, the null levels at the clutter locations and the jamming directions obtained by the proposed method are -50 dB above.…”

Cancellation performance of co-site antenna interference cancellation system for AM interference by Yunhao JIANG, Nan ZHAO, Cong LIU, Wenfang DING, Ziqiang XI

    Published 2018-10-01
“…The interference cancellation performance of actual co-site antenna interference cancellation system (CICS) under amplitude modulation jamming signal was analyzed. The expressions of the steady-state weights and theirs structure characteristics of the interference cancellation system under the AM signal were given. The formulae of the interference cancellation ratio (ICR) for carrier frequency and side frequency were derived. The influence factors and the influence rules of the ICR were analyzed. The steady state weights of the interference cancellation system (ICS) were the weighting of the carrier frequency optimal weights and the edge frequency optimal weights according to the power ratio. The increase of the signal bandwidth will increase the discreteness of the carrier frequency optimal weights and the edge frequency optimal weights and lead to the decrease of the interference cancellation ratio (ICR).The decrease degree of the edge frequency ICR was greater than that of the carrier frequency ICR.To improve ICR by increasing the gain was limited. The relationship between the interference cancellation ratio limit and the equivalent transmission delay was given. The design method of the interference cancellation system to improve the ICR under the AM signal was proposed. Finally, the correctness and validity of the theoretical analysis was verified by simulation.…”

Artificial noise-aided robust secure information and power transmission scheme in heterogeneous networks with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer by Bo ZHANG, Kaizhi HUANG, Zhou ZHONG, Yajun CHEN

    Published 2019-03-01
“…A heterogeneous network with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer under the stochastic channel state information (CSI) error was considered. In this network,to guarantee the security and reliability of information and energy transmission,an artificial noise (AN)-aided robust secure information and power transmission scheme was proposed.By jointly designing the downlink information beamforming and AN matrix of macrocell base station and femtocell base stations, the eavesdroppers were jammed and the energy receiving performance of system was improved simultaneously. The problem of maximizing the energy receiving performance was modeled under the constraints on the base station power, the outage probability of information transfer and confidential information eavesdropped.Due to the probabilistic and rank-one constraints, this problem was non-convex.To obtain the solution, the original problem was first transformed into an equivalent form, which was easy to process. Then, the Bernstein-type inequality and the Large-deviation inequality was utilized to transform the outage probability limits into convex linear matrix inequalities, respectively. Finally, the rank-one beamforming constraints were processed with quadratic equality constraint procedure.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has higher energy receiving performance and feasible performance in comparison with compared schemes, which validates the effectiveness and the robustness of our proposed scheme.…”

Physical layer security of full-duplex relay-assisted D2D networks under outdated CSI by Jingjie SHEN, Guangqiu LI, Yancui LUO, Huizhi LIU

    Published 2023-03-01
“…The relay aided device to device (D2D) network can improve the spectrum efficiency of D2D users and the physical layer security of cellular user (CU) by sharing spectrum with the cellular network. To further improve their performance, transmit antenna selection can be used at the base station and the relay node of the D2D link, and full duplex technology can be used in the relay node. However, due to the feedback delay and mobility, the channel state information (CSI) used for the antenna selection of cellular link and all D2D links may be outdated. For the physical layer security and reliability in the above scenario, security model of a full duplex relay aided D2D network was proposed in the presence of active eavesdropping and outdated CSI, in which the base station and relay nodes both used transmit antenna selection. The closed-expressions for outage probability, ergodic capacity, probability of non-zero secrecy capacity, secure outage probability, asymptotic secure outage probability of relay aided D2D networks were derived. The numerical calculation and simulation results show that the more the number of base station transmit antennas and relay jamming antennas are, the better the CU security performance is.The outdated CSI will deteriorate the outage and security performance of CU.…”
