National Rivalry among Hospitallers?
Published 2021-07-01“…The prior’s lieutenant for Austria, Styria, Carinthia and Carniola, who often resided at the important commandery of Mailberg, could have been a nucleus for Austrian independence from Bohemia. The paper edits and discusses a document from 1392 where the prioral chapter deals with a quarrel between Hospitallers in Austria and Styria; their fellow-Hospitallers from the lands of the Bohemian crown (Bohemia proper, Moravia, Silesia) carefully avoided to be offend Duke Albert III of Austria. …”

Resource allocation strategy based on deep reinforcement learning in 6G dense network
Published 2023-08-01“…In order to realize no overlapping interference between cells, 6G dense network (DN) adopting resource allocation is the important technology of enhancing network performance. However, limited resources and dense distribution of nodes make it difficult to solve the problem of resource allocation through traditional optimization methods. To tackle the problem, a point-line graph coloring based overlapping interference model was formulated and a Dueling deep Q-network (DQN) based resource allocation method was proposed, which combined deep reinforcement learning (DRL) and the overlapping interference model.Specifically, the proposed method adopted the overlapping interference model and resource reuse rate to design the immediate reward. Then, generating 6G DN resource allocation strategies were independently learned by using Dueling DQN to achieve the goal of realizing resource allocation without overlapping interference between cells. The performance evaluation results show that the proposed method can effectively increase both network throughput and resource reuse rate, as well as enhance network performance.…”

Design and Verifi cation of Real-Time Simulation System for Protocol Design and Performance Evaluation of Large-Scale Satellite Network
Published 2023-03-01“…Aiming at the problems above, a real-time network simulation test system named SiT4NET was studied and developed.Firstly, SiT4NET used container technique to solved the problem of large-scale network node deployment with limited resources on the basis of ensuring nodes’ independence, thus improved the resource utilization of the simulation system.Secondly, the packet transmission between nodes based on data units and the mechanism for requesting/retrieving system-level data units were innovatively proposed to provided a strong foundation for real-time network simulation. And thirdly, through the standard high-level protocol interface, internal packet format and reconfi gurable mechanism of packet processing, SiT4NET reduced the complexity of conversion between the simulation implementation of the protocol and the target platform. Finally, by set up the same satellite network environment on SiT4NET and OPNET platforms, set up multiple groups of simulation scenarios, compared and analyzed the results, it showed that this method could met the performance requirements of large-scale satellite network.…”
