Adaptive SDN switch migration mechanism based on coalitional game
Published 2020-08-01“…The problem of poor control plane performance causes in software-defined Networking due to the unreasonable mapping relationship between controllers and switches. To address this issue,an adaptive switch migration mechanism based on coalitional game was proposed.First, comprehensively considering the controller resource utilization, control overhead, and flow establishment time, the switch migration problem was modeled as a combination optimization problem. Then,a game theory was introduced to design a distributed algorithm, where each controller ran control logic independently and implemented coalitional game between controllers to achieve an adaptive switch migration mechanism that adapted to traffic characteristics. The simulation results show that the proposed mechanism can better adapt to the flow characteristics, reduce the control traffic overhead by about 19% and the average flow settling time by 30%,and improve the controller resource utilization.…”

Adaptive transmission scheme of generalized multi-carrier system based on orthogonal transformation
Published 2012-10-01“…A joint adaptive hybrid single-carrier transmission scheme of orthogonal transformation mode and modulation and coding scheme(MCS)was proposed for orthogonal transformation generalized multi-carrier system(OT-GMC).The scheme achieved the maximal spectrum efficiency by adaptive switching the orthogonal transformation mode and MCS according to effective SINR.When identical transformation was used, the data of each sub-band could be transmitted adaptively and independently. As a result, the spectrum efficiency could be improved. When DFT was used, the signal had lower PAPR and it improved the efficiency of power amplifier.Essentially, this transmission scheme obtains the most optimum compromise performance of spectrum efficiency and PAPR in single-carrier hybrid transmission system. The simulation results show that the presented scheme is better than the single transmission scheme in the aspect of throughput performance.…”

Decomposition Methods for Solving Finite-Horizon Large MDPs
Published 2022-01-01“…This paper is one of the first works to deal with non-stationary finite-horizon MDPs by proposing a new decomposition approach, which consists in partitioning the problem into smaller restricted finite-horizon MDPs, each restricted MDP is solved independently, in a specific order, using the proposed hierarchical backward induction (HBI) algorithm based on the backward induction (BI) algorithm. …”

Tangier and the cultivation of desire in the print travel guides: latent and transgressive forms
Published 2018-05-01“…This article examines the different ways in which the city of Tangier is presented as a site of erotic experiences in the three large collections of print travel guides (Guide Vert, Guide Bleu and Lonely Planet) published in France after Moroccan independence (1956-2010). Heteroeroticism, which was deemed appropriate in the West’s promotional discourse on destinations with a colonial culture, no longer responds to the demands of a hypermodern touristic public in search of a more reflexive and creative experience. …”

Resource allocation algorithm based on non-cooperative game theory in uplink OFDMA multi-hop relay networks
Published 2012-03-01“…Resource allocation issue in uplink OFDMA multi-hop relay networks was investigated.Firstly, with constraints such as maximum transmission power being imposed,a multi-cell optimization model for resource allocation in uplink OFDMA multi-hop relay networks was formulated.By applying non-cooperative game and pricing theories, the optimization is transformed into the case where power was independently allocated on each sub-channel.The existence and uniqueness of Nash equilibrium for power allocation model which was based on non-cooperative was proven, and accordingly a distributed algorithm was proposed.Simulation results show that, the proposed algorithm can improve the system throughput effectively while profoundly reducing total system transmission power, thus achieving much higher energy efficiency ratio.…”
