Internal Benchmarking of Thermal Power Plants оf Electric Power Systems
Published 2020-12-01“…A necessary condition for the feasibility of using these or those integral indicators is their functional and statistical independence. The results of the studies performed using the simulation method made it possible to establish that the smallest correlation occurs between the integral indicator calculated as the arithmetic mean of random variables and the integral indicator calculated as the coefficient of variation of the same random variables. …”

Health-related quality of life after prosthodontic rehabilitation in patients with COVID-19-associated mucormycosis: A systematic review
Published 2025-01-01“…Comprehensive searches across databases such as PubMed, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, and Semantic Scholar were done to include studies after the year 2020, written in English language, regardless of geographic location, which presented data on prosthodontic interventions for individuals affected by COVID-19-associated mucormycosis. Independently, the three authors conducted a comprehensive quality assessment of the selected studies using the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) study quality assessment tool to gauge the risk of bias specifically for before–after (pre–post) studies lacking a control group. …”

Occupational burn-out, fatigue and stress in professional rescuers: a cross-sectional study in Kazakhstan
Published 2022-06-01“…Objectives To find predictors of burn-out in a cohort of rescuers.Design Cross-sectional study.Setting Republican Rescue Squad (N=105) and Republican Mudslide Rescue Service under the Ministry of Emergency Situations (N=480) in Almaty, Kazakhstan.Participants In total, we included 268 (80% men, median age 38 (IQR 22) years) rescuers from both organisations.Primary and secondary outcome measures We offered a questionnaire to rescuers, which included Maslach Burnout Inventory, quantifying emotional exhaustion (EX), cynicism (CY) and professional efficacy (PE) along with fatigue, stress and health-related quality of life (HRQL) tools. Results Lower scores of HRQL (Physical Component Score (PCS) beta −0.04 (95% CI −0.06 to −0.02); Mental Component Score beta −0.03 (95% CI −0.05 to −0.01)), higher fatigue (Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) score beta 0.03 (95% CI 0.03 to 0.04)) and stress (Perceived Stress Score-10 beta 0.04 (95% CI 0.02 to 0.06)) independently predicted greater EX. Lower PCS (beta −0.03 (95% CI −0.06 to −0.01)) and FSS (beta 0.02 (95% CI 0.01 to 0.03)) could predict more CY burn-out. …”

Glyphosate treatment mediates the accumulation of small discrete 5′ and 3′-terminal fragments of 18S rRNA in plant cells
Published 2023-04-01“…This result suggests that discrete fragmentation of 18S rRNA may constitute a regulatory mechanism of mRNA translation in response to stress and may occur in plant cells in parallel with and independently of eIF2α phosphorylation. The identified small 5’and 3’-terminal fragments of 18S rRNA that accumulate during various stresses may serve as stress resistance markers in the breeding of economically important plant crops.…”
