Association of socioeconomic factors and the risk for unintentional injuries among children in Japan: a cross-sectional study
Published 2018-08-01“…The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed no significant differences in socioeconomic factors between households that reported unintentional injuries and those that did not. Conclusion The findings of our study demonstrated that unintentional injuries among preschool children occurred at approximately fixed rates, independent of socioeconomic factors. Accordingly, prevention strategies for unintentional injuries that concern socioeconomic disadvantages should be avoided in Japan.…”

2-D numerical experiments of thermal convection of highly viscous fluids under strong adiabatic compression: implications on mantle convection of super-Earths with various sizes
Published 2025-02-01“…Our scaling relationships suggest that the stress level in the top cold thermal boundary layers is almost independent of the planetary mass, which may further imply that the emergence of plate tectonics is not likely to be enhanced for massive terrestrial planets whose composition is similar to the Earth’s. …”

System- and sample-agnostic isotropic three-dimensional microscopy by weakly physics-informed, domain-shift-resistant axial deblurring
Published 2025-01-01“…This challenge is particularly pronounced in label-free imaging of thick, heterogeneous tissues, where assumptions about data distribution (e.g. sparsity, label-specific distribution, and lateral-axial similarity) and system priors (e.g. independent and identically distributed noise and linear shift-invariant point-spread functions are often invalid. …”
